Maxymilliano:It doesn't matter who you voted for, your leaders are selected not elected. It is about time that Nigerians realise they have no real control over who the president is just an illusion that you are really the one choosing them, 2023 will still not be different because it will still be another failure until Nigerians say enough is enough. 1 Like |

Didn't they bannfood importation while there aren't enough food production/supply even at rural settings The borders were closed of staple food while fulani heardsmen while on rampage and pillage on the remaining farms Even America and Russia still import food with extensive food welfarism There's no chance for common man survival, but when we lift our flag of hope(Biafra) they scorn at us God of the rising sun will judge you all 1 Like |

CodeTemplar:inflation will still eat it. Nobody is exempted. I used to think that earning dollar gives you ample opportunity but in a technical sense, it does not because you wlll be spending MORE NAIRA at the end of each transactions you made.... imagine addition of 50 naira here, 100 naira there, 200 naira next... before you complete your transaction for the day, you would have accummulated and spent between 2000-5000 naira EXTRA across multiple purchases. You get it now? 2 Likes |

It’s because Buhari’s boys (The herdsmen) are in the Bush killing innocent farmers. Farmers are scared to go back to the farm because of these bastards. Now demand is more than supply 1 Like |

The Federal govt banned the importation of rice because he felt Nigerian farmers will take advantage of it to develop their sector and also Nigerian economy. Due to corruption in the sector as per loans given to these farmers that which amount to billions, they are still causing hardship to common men. The Federal govt should lift the ban on rice importation and ban BDC operators. 2 Likes |

Consumers have great power if only they will decide to use it. Move to any substitute cocoyam sweet potato (N100 own can feed the family). By that action , the price will drop. If tomato is costly move to egusi, mixed okra , ogbono, beg soup. We have so many options. Stop all this complaints and eat whatever is in season. 4 Likes |

Capitalism. Signs of Nigeria's growing capitalism. Capitalism conspires to be rid of public fruit trees, sells the public class prejudices that make them cease to grow fruit trees in the front yard and plantains in the backyard; it seduces the mass with supermarket and online shopping until the public become Capitalist Consumers enslaved to the vagaries of the market and economic turns. But, you’re going to blame the government since that is the short-term thing to do and the way some are only capable of ever seeing things and planning them. Even if all farmers are farming optimally, Hearders extinct, prices will follow and upward trajectory above the heads of little matchstick men leaping for them in any long-term graph. |

Show picture na! There are yams that are big in size and can qualify for the amount you complain about. No one can genuinely criticize the amount per yam without having a pictorial view of the very yam in question. |

You haven't seen anything yet folks. It is actually going to be something like N5,000.00 per tuber of yam at rate the inflation is getting higher by each day ! The unfortunate thing is that Nigerians will buy it with little or no complaint. This exactly is the plan of that wicked, heartless fulani man in aso rock. He derives that sadistic joy in our pains, especially southerners. Like ex Governor Fayose rightly said,Buhari is a Jonah in our ship. He should be thrown over board for peace to reign and hunger to disappear. That idiot is a bundle of bad luck 2 Likes |
