When you have an Oil Well in Nigeria, the fear of Ododuwa republic, Biafra etc. is the beginning of wisdom.

Useless monarch, rubish
Of course it is only normal that the people @ the bottom of the ladder that have nothing will be the ones shouting divide, like the woman in the Bible who did not own the child, but wanted King Solomon to divide the baby into 2 pieces.

It was a fort (Eko) for the Oba of Benin, it became a British Colony in 1861, & Lagos Colony was joined to The Southern protectorate in 1906, Lagos is not one, it is combination of islands the make up Lagos State. Of course Nigeria created by the British that Awolowo your modern times Oduduwa went to study law there, will fall so you can go back to when you were living in huts & cooking with firewood?
Hehehe... cheesy

What part of Lagos is a fort of Oba of Benin Let start with that first....

wisdom from an elder is priceless. Unlike some destiny Killers and destroyers whose only aim is to make money at the expense of people's lives
MNK is a goat all he does is to whip up sentiments/emotions and his Biafra zombies would just follow him without asking questions.
he says look at Buhari's ear, they shout yeah. then he says look at Buhari's Nose they shout yeah! yeah!!. he says look at Buhari's hairline, Look at his neck, his height, his palm, at this point, MNK's zombies are in a frenzy. they shout give us biafruad! give us biafruad!!, while donating their lives, their money, their properties to him! this is a joke. Biafra is a joke. Who builds a Nation based on Jokes? If not IPOB. Very important questions need to be asked. Questions like
financial plans: How do we fund the Nation. Presently the 5 states (or 5 small LGA's whose land can barely feed 100k people) do not generate even a penny to the federation account all they do is go to Abuja to beg for funds. or is it through ariaria Market, fake and adulterated products, second hand goods and hard drugs that the Biafra nation will be funded? How do we pay our debts. (Zombies, note this. You will pay your share of the $32 trillion Nigeria currently owes before you leave).
Developmental plans: where is biafra going to be in the next 10 years, 20 years, how do we fund it. Do we borrow etc
political plan: Presidential or parliamentary, etc.
That is how nations are formed/created. not by killing people's destiny.

Kwanza:

The Oluwo of Iwoland in Osun State, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, on Wednesday, warned that South West will suffer if Nigeria breaks up now and begged youths agitating for the Yoruba nation to calm down.

He said this during the official presentation of the Osun Youth Policy Document of the State Ministry of Youths by the State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, in Osogbo, the state capital.

The monarch lauded Oyetola’s administration for its good plans for the youths in the state and urged the youths to cooperate with the government to deliver rather than agitate for a breakup.

Oba Akanbi said only Lagos can pay the salary of its civil servants without waiting for money from the federal government, saying that other South-West states cannot pay salaries of their workers and that majority of people in the region were civil servants.

‘Youths are important’

Speaking at the event, Oyetola said youths are very critical to his administration’s sustainable development and explained that the Osun Youth Policy Document was developed to empower the young people in the State.

The newly-unveiled Youth Policy Document has four components -Youth Empowerment, Youth Engagement, Youth Entrepreneurship and Youth Education.

Oyetola said his administration had enunciated a clear policy framework to ensure that an enabling environment is created for the youths to maximally realise their creative and productive potential.

He said the Osun Youth Policy Document contains a commitment by the government, the youth of the State and the society in pursuance of youth development and growth.

He said, “As captured in the Policy, youth development is holistic and integrated, requiring the support and active involvement of all relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), Youth Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations and the Public Sector, Private Sector and Philanthropists.”

Oyetola, who described youths as the most productive, efficient and energetic segment of the population, said his administration had invested tremendously in them as part of efforts to build a virile and sustainable economy and ensure all-around growth and development

You can imagine an Aboki spitting trash about Lagos & Awolowo. This illiterate thinks that Lagos is the creation of the British.

Eko was never the creation of Brittish.... even the name Lagos was not from the Brits to start with, and yes Lagos which is the Island it self was a Brittish colony but that does not stop it from been the property of Yorubas.

I don't know why Nairaland always put this man's vomits on FrontPage. We all know his story before and after he became king. We have many important personalities with good understanding and civility.

He is a king of a rural town in Osun State. The town is one of the rural towns with large population of Muslims in those days. They kill and sell cow meat (butchers ). He doesn't know what he is saying. He once fought his superior (OluwoOKE ) and claimed his son can become an Ooni of Ife. He has become the spokesman of the Fulanis to survive.

People who know him very well can never take him serious that is why he has chosen nairaland where he is not known to display his folly. I passed through the town on my way to Ede few days ago and still met the town dirty and undeveloped as it has been with lots of dilapidation.

Oluwo, speak for yourself. Why should a company employ staff it can't cater for, if we all go our separate ways and for any reason a state can't pay salary, it means 2 things, the state isn't productive or it's having more workforce than it needs.
ShopRite Nigeria is breaking away from SA, MTN Nigeria is currently independent of its HQ, yet, they pay salary without owing.

If we separate today, in less than a week, petrol will sell for nothing less than N500 in equivalent of whatever currency the new nation adopts. 60% of the current civil servants across the region will lose their jobs in less than 3 months. 20-30% of private businesses will close down. The stock market will crash and foreign investor will exit in droves at least for a year. All the above will lead to serious insecurity across the country and political instability. You guys are playing with fire to be honest.

Only oil revenue keeps this country together, the fact is if a war happens they'd be no external assistance because the oil revenue is currently not enough for nigeria, compared to the 1960s when. There was a bounty for external influence.

That's one reason Nigeria can't break, regions without oil will suffer. Even with the oil how are we faring.. But the fact is getting out of the comfort zone(Nigeria and the reliance on oil) might actually unleash hidden potentials..

WRONG

There is no any fire anywhere. Rather, things can only get better after the initial crisis. Things can never work in Nigeria. Things can never get better. Yorubas are the problems of the South. Yorubas remains the tribe that cause underdevelopment in West Africa Sub region. Future generations of Yorubas will suffer severely for the selfishness and cowardice of the present generation.
