Bola146: Stop this please. It is the quest for little little things that made Nigeria what it is today. Who told u the price of beans is only in the south? As at that today a module of beans goes for 1k. What you see in the prices of food is insecurity, farmers cannot go to farm. 2 Likes |

FreedomArmy:They should also stop their cows from wandering to the south, or the southerners should also prepare and start killing cows, if the government do not listen to their cry. Beginning of the end of Nigeria. |

Is this a threat or what? If they like let them cut the supply, we will always survive. Was that not the same thing they said about tomato supply to the south east? Did anybody die? and when they realized they will largely be at the losing end, they changed their mind. Now here they are again, reasoning through their anus. Mind you, this doesn't mean I support the onion theft in Imo. |

How many times would these northerners realize the fact that the person holding money is the boss. You cut off your supply and take a huge loss, while I can use my money to paronize other people. |

Tinubuadvocate: What a speech! Typical of our region. You are not in any way different from your elders who put the country in this mess. To think one of them wants to become the president, that can only happen in the dream. The problem we have in this country is food. What to eat but you dont have to condescend so low cos of crumbs given to u. |

Bola146: They used fulani herdsmen to chase southern farmers from farming. Now they have monopoly over food products. Their youths that flooded the south selling onions with wheelbarrow will also be affected 1 Like |

Grace001: Some people are myopic. My old man used to send me produce like okra, tomato, yams etc from his farm. Now, that has stopped lately simply because people are afraid to go to the farms. It's not laziness per se. Majority of the South Easterners are quick to jump to conclusion on issues. They're only slightly better than Molas as far as medulla things are concerned. Now to those stupid onion people, it's their foolhardiness that will kill them. Let them keep their onions and see who will suffer. Make dem chop everything na. 1 Like |

South East Nigeria have given the north too much power now they think they are the ones feeding us, stupid people that don't add any value to our economy, all they do sell their goods and go, they don't invest in anything in the South and Eastern Nigeria |

Lastmankc: Better than sending their drivers to the lawless SE and killing zone to be slaughtered by terrorists and unknown gunmen killers and their trucks destroyed as we've witnessed already. One life is better than perished 1 million truckloads of onion. Safety first. Grow your own onions, don't be lazy. |

I have said it that we Southerners need to go back and have our farms, food is now the new war-fare. They threatened Southern Nigeria few weeks ago now it's comming back again it's a security risky when you leave food production exclusively to one region, they can poison everyone with bio-agro chemicals and kills us little by little Southerners give yourselves brain. |
