And these resources are being taken from the most vulnerable segment of society, the youth, presently running the bulk of Nigeria's unemployment baggage. While in other parts of the world the youth are doubling down and expanding the new economy by leaps and bounds, here we are digging our own graves. Not only are resources going to be lost but when the dust is finally settled Nigeria will be once more further behind its contemporaries even on the continent. Too bad. 2 Likes |

So Twitter alone earns about N730 billion revenue from Nigeria, which is equivalent of approximately $2 billion yet the total global revenue of Twitter itself after increase 7% Y-o-Y from 2019 is $3.72 billion (2020) with a net loss of $1.14 billion https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/twitter-announces-fourth-quarter-and-fiscal-year-2020-results-301225278.html#:~:text=2020%20revenue%20was%20%243.72%20billion,of%207%25%20year%20over%20year. Twitter is actually in a financial mess and it was just reckless of Jack not to oversee the Nigerian operations. With a loss of $1.14 billion, the FG ban is a masterstroke against them. They deserve Ghana, Twitter is not a profitable company. So when they say it's N2 billion daily, they are suggesting that Twitter generates equivalent of 50% of its revenue from Nigeria .Yet such a country is the one Twitter wants to throw into war. I don't believe this. This kind of report can only come from platforms with weak research team. 6 Likes 1 Share

No matter how much the Country will lost it won't pain me because they (government) pockets the money for their selfish interest. The common man will benefit nothing from the huge sum. |
