1)yugoslavia was multiethnic:croats, serbs, kosovans, slovenes, macedonians etc, there was so much tension.

2)serbian were the fulanis, they dominated the country politically sphere and military thinking it will guarantee them a strong foothold on the country forever they bullied others and celebrated killings and their invincibility it went on for years only if they knew.

3)it was a country of christian and muslims we all know they hardly coexist.

4)all the ethnic groups within the country commited atrocities against each other during world war 2 and they constantly blame and reopen old wounds of history until it degenerate to full ethnic hatred amongst it citizens.we can see that happening everyday on nairaland civil war blames, always talking about 1967 froms coup down to the 3million that died.

5) The country experience economic collapse and inflation was.

The glaring similarities between Nigeria, Yugoslavia and just about any multiethnic developing country in the world.

Btw atrocities being committed in war times is intrinsic to any war. It's part of the nature of war and not exclusive to Nigeria and Yugoslavia.

OP very amateur write up.
