Benin that Biafra Troup defeated in less Han 24 hours on their way to Ore

The 13th Battalion was given the job of defending the Biafran north flank while also cutting off Nigerian supplies going to Nsukka. A Nigerian Army unit was pursued by Biafran soldiers to the Siluko River where the two sides exchanged fire, before the Nigerians managed to escape under the cover of darkness. Unbeknownst to General Banjo a unit of Biafran soldiers under Midwestern Lt. Col. Ochei attacked the government residence of Mid-Western Region governor David Ejoor in Benin on the orders of President Odumegwu Ojukwu to capture Ejoor dead or alive. Fortunately for Ejoor, Quartermaster Lt. Col. Ogbemudia changed the guard detail at the government house the night prior, replacing troops that were in on the plot to hand over Ejoor. His guards resisted the attacking Biafrans which gave Ejoor enough time to escape and flee to Lagos. Within 12 hours of the initial invasion the Biafran Army had control over the entire Mid-Western Region, most of it taken without a fight.
Need I remind you how yoruba defeated your battalion of biafra in ore?

Don't forget, it was yoruba man that lead the biafra war in the biafra side

Answer me. Which war you igbos fight.

Don't mention Nigeria civil war cos it was between armies.

Yoruba can mention war with Fulani which they come out victorious in 1840.

Which tribe have you fought and win before

Is it yoruba
Is it fulani
Is it hausa
Is it igala.

Bring ot out with fact.

We all know there were no fight in ilorin, it was a greedy Afonja that destroyed himself.

Do you know that jebba was a fulani town with emir before they had war with yorubas that displaced them and now has oba instead of emir.

Have you asked yourself why other cities in kwara had their Obas. Because the fulanis dares not fight them.

They only backstabbed Afonja and yorubas care less about him because he was a traitor.

Why didn't they succeed in oshogbo den?.

So the land you cry about daily that ikwerre took from you, when are you recovering it?

I am arọ man... The entire Isreal no reach 10 percent of the Arab yet they dealt with them

ARO took over in conquest Arochukwu

Item took over in conquest from ibibio

Same with Abriba

60 percent of abịa is a Conquered area

That is why they dance with human heads to celebrate their Conquest...

The way igbo took Nsuka from igala folks and Izzi took over land from the ogoja people

It's only igbo and fulani has this capacity

Yoruba lost lands
Benin lost lands
Ibibio efikz lost

Give it to igbo....if
.

The Fulans that is making you lots wail with their far lesser population compare to Ibos is what you are bragging about
Igbos are mixtures of all sorts from Ibibios Igalas Idomas Ijaws Benins so speaking of conquest exist strictly in your wide imagination, history recognizes nothing of such.
Tell Isreal to go try that shit now, ordinary PLO and Hezbollah is giving them hell it is the Arab world they wanna try such now that every nation now has plenty of firepower unlike back then

1. Igbo: Igbo, also called Ibo, people living chiefly in southeastern Nigeria who speak Igbo, a language of the Benue-Congo branch of the Niger-Congo language family. The Igbo may be grouped into the following main cultural divisions: northern, southern, western, eastern or Cross River, and northeastern. Before European colonization, the Igbo were not united as a single people but lived in autonomous local communities. By the mid-20th century, however, a sense of ethnic identity was strongly developed, and the Igbo-dominated Eastern region of Nigeria tried to unilaterally secede from Nigeria in 1967 as the independent nation of Biafra. By the turn of the 21st century, the Igbo numbered some 20 million.

2. Igala: Igala, also spelled Igara, a largely Muslim people of Nigeria, living on the left bank of the Niger River below its junction with the Benue River. Their language belongs to the Benue-Congo branch of the Niger-Congo family. Their ruler, the ata, traditionally also governed two other groups, the Bassa Nge and the Bass Nkome, who live between the Igala and the Benue River.

Traditional Igala society was politically organized as a kingdom. Kings were divine and were surrounded by numerous taboos; they held elaborate courts attended by a host of officials and servants, many of them slaves and eunuchs. All divine kingdoms in Africa had customs that acted as checks on the power of the king. This included a custom in which the queen mother could chastise the king; she was the only individual who was able to do so under the taboo system.

The Igala have been primarily an agricultural people, growing a wide range of crops typical of the area, including yams, taro, pumpkins, squash, corn (maize), manioc, and peanuts (groundnuts). Palm oil and kernels have become significant as cash crops.

3. Fulani: Fulani, also called Peul or Fulbe, a primarily Muslim people scattered throughout many parts of West Africa, from Lake Chad, in the east, to the Atlantic coast. They are concentrated principally in Nigeria, Mali, Guinea, Cameroon, Senegal, and Niger. The Fulani language, known as Fula, is classified within the Atlantic branch of the Niger-Congo language family.

4. Kanuri: Kanuri, African people, the dominant element of the population of Bornu state in northeastern Nigeria and also found in large numbers in southeastern Niger. The Kanuri language is classified as belonging to the Saharan branch of the Nilo-Saharan family.

5. Bini: Edo, also called Bini, people of southern Nigeria who speak a language of the Benue-Congo branch of the Niger-Congo language family. The Edo numbered about 3.8 million at the turn of the 21st century. Their territory is west of the Niger River and extends from hilly country in the north to swamps in the Niger Delta. Edo is also the vernacular name for Benin City, the centre of the Benin kingdom, which flourished from the 14th to the 17th century.

How can igbo be brave when they are known for cowardice all through Nigeria’s history. How can the bravest be the most marginalised? Nothing is adding up. This list is a sham and thread should be deleted and the OP should be banned for posting this fake news!

Igbos suffering from inferiority complex as usual.

Azikiwe opted for ceremonial president for fear of real responsibility.
Ojukwu abandoned pple he took to war and ran away.
MNK ran away at the first sign of a clamp down by security forces.

MKO contested an election, won, declared himself president and stayed put for the brutal & ruthless military junta to do dr worst.
Idiagbons govt. was overthrown while he was in diaspora, was advised to stay back but chose to come back home like a brave Yoruba man.
Fajuyi chose the path of honor when coupists came for Ironsi in his house.

There are many more stories of brave Yoruba men,but you are just one ignorant fool.

Sometimes I really wonder about these people.

Benin city was estimated to be around 15,000 people at the late 1800s. While Arochukwu, just one of the major towns of the Aro sub-group was estimated at 100,000 a couple decades earlier.

An someone is trying to say that that small town conquered Igbos in entirety. You can argue but please argue with sense.
I would like to see any excerpts that state that Arochukwu was 100,000 between 1700-1799

You should have also known that Arochukwu was a stable town devoid of wars, same cannot be said of Benin city, the seat of the glorious Benin Kingdom that was met with continuous political turmoil, ritual killings, succession disputes which led to the loss of lives on both sides supporting both princes and a society where migrating out was the norm. you should know precolonially that Bini was probably the most politically turmoiled in the whole of the southern region of Nigeria, the greatest beneficiaries of those migration today are Igbos, Western Igbos and eastern yorubas. There are many Edos by blood today walking around as Igbos and Yorubas

Benin city population was not consistent, sometimes it was recounted to be over 80,000 precolonially

you should know that aside Bini city, there are over 500 other towns and villages where the Binis reside or inhabit.

Bini by all indices and standard today is a major minority

You're very correct. I already mentioned Jukuns before I saw your comment. I even do not think Bini should be there. Even though they built a big empire, their descendants have not proven that they're worth being called brave. Moreover, it was the Esan army or rather the Esan division of the Bini Empire that routed the Fulani, not Binis perse.
It was a country,an empire, an independent entity of which Esan division was a part, who gave the orders, the members of the armed forces in the various district in Benin empire must have been of mixed ethnicities.

The empire encompasses what is known as Edo and delta today, Eastern Yorubaland and western Igboland.

Do you know how many Igbo blood has been shed by the federal government of Nigeria because of Nnamdi kanu just between January 2023 to date?

Now do your maths, how many has been killed for Sunday who was fighting for your lands not to be overrrun?

Igbos has never been United into an Empire/country before and the first time they are trying to achieve that with Biafra, we paid dearly with our bloods.

But till date we are still paying with that same blood everyday and everyday fucking day untill we achieve what we need!!!!

Now I dare you coward to bravely define Bravery please!!!!

Read British Document to the British Colonial Governor Below
Na mouth them get,no action.

Let us it down for them
So they can increase In Wisdom

Political Strategy is not Gra Gra
You don't always show opponents your Strengths
So you hide your Joker Card

Kwara Governors are always Yorubas ,any Traditional Ruler that Misbehaves they are free to Remove

Emir of Ilorin fully Submits to them
He has no Choice

Emir of Ilorin was Checkmated long ago
He is a Servant of the Governor
All Kwara Governors are Sons of the Soil

We already have Ilorin because we Control Kwara

What remains are religious differences between our own People

The British fought the Yoruba Ruler of ilorin called Balogun Inakoju alanamu in 1900 to take Over Ilorin

The Emir had already been defeated and deposed by him and his followers

Balogun alanamu was the Yoruba Ruler of ilorin

The rest is Tribal Politics

There are some Historians who even claim the real reason the British reinstated the Emir in Ilorin was because he was the one that gave Lord Lugard the information that was used to Track down and kill the fleeing Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate Attahiru and his Jihadist Army at Gombe
So the British reinstated hin as Emir of Ilorin as a reward

Many Fulani even see the Emir of Ilorin as a Traitor who sold out the Sultan of Sokoto Attahiru and his Sokoto Caliphate to the British

The Yorubas also deposed the Emir of Ilorin in 1934 he fled to Kaduna and was again reinstated by the British after 2 years

Read 1900 British Colonial Document below
