How has this figure positively affected the ordinary Nigerians on the streets?

It means the ordinary Nigerians on the street can start a business and make great profits if they are honest and hard-working.

MILLIONS of ordinary Nigerians have started from NOTHING, and built incredibly successful businesses.

INNOSON started by selling spare parts in Nnewi market.

Facebook and Twitter make billions off Nigeria and only pays tax in the USA.
This is a good move.
Another ignorant propagandist spouting transparent lies. Both of these companies are publicly listed, and have to file quarterly and annual reports with the SEC. These documents are freely available online and demonstrate that you're talking absolute nonsense. Nigeria is a financial irrelevance to both firms!

Twitter needs Nigeria 1,000 times more than Nigeria needs Twitter.

And if any of the platforms refuse to comply with Nigerian law, they will be kicked out of the Nigerian market.

Now run along and go sing for your white master, little slaveboy.

This negro did not just type what I think he typed

Biggest middle class in Africa and biggest economy in Africa, with an annual GDP of 1.16 TRILLION dollars per annum, calculated by PPP (Purchasing Power Parity).

Twitter, by comparison, earned 1.2 billion dollars last year.

That is chicken change for top Nigerian business conglomerates, not to mention the Nigerian govt.

Twitter is shiit compared to Nigeria.[/quote]

Just like they are a financial irrelevance to Nigeria.

Twitter earned a mere 1.2 billion dollars last year and are drowning in debt.

Even Lagos state can assist them with their financial woes.
