You should know Wike is lying. If Rivers State was practicing full autonomy for the Judiciary, Wike won't need to pay them.

He won't be able to direct the accountant general when and how to pay the Judiciary.

Then, there is no financial autonomy for other arms in that state.

At federal level, Accountant General doesn’t prepare salaries for National Assembly staff. In fact he doesn’t know their condition of service.

There has to be a separation of powers.

The Judiciary, Executive, and Legislature are equals. None is superior to the other, and none should be subservient to the other.

This is why they went on the strike in the first place.
