Lagos is the new hub of development now. Everyone is going to Lagos for understudy for various issues. But some group of underdevelopment lovers from the ancient Benin kingdom say Edo no be Lagos. Their city is perpetually in coven darkness every night. Ordinary street lights they don't have. 4 Likes |

Eko ko ni baje laye laye. Ile Yoruba ko ni baje laye laye. I stand for one Nigeria where there's fairness, security, justice, preservation of right to life, fairness in appointments, egalitarianism, free enterprise, and rule of law prevail. Where the above are missing, then my Oduduwa Republic comes to mind. |

adioolayi:How old are those who debunked the claim that oil was sold above $100? That's not an APC claim. I'm not an APC member and I'm aware that oil was above $100 between 2011 and 2014. 2 Likes |

adioolayi: Are you backtracking from your claim? You said that it has not sold at or above $100, now you are saying that it has. Is that not a contradiction? The person that you quoted did not say that it was during the entire reign of PDP. He simply said that it sold for $100 a barrel and above. adioolayi: adioolayi: |

adioolayi:I am not a fan of people lacking focus when they are presenting their position. You can't sustain a discussion when you shift goalposts and you come off as someone not interested in facts but just arguing to sustain or defend a defined position at all cost. That's not healthy. I don't care about APC or PDP as I see all Nigerian politicians as belonging in the same ideological bucket in realty. Quoted below is what you wrote just a few minutes ago. why are you shifting to "That was under GEJ"?: "When was oil sold for $100 and over $100 per barrell A thread has debunked this APC's repeated claims...Nigeria's crude has not been sold at or above $100 per barrell." 1 Like 1 Share |

But the truth is, both your APC government and Reno's PDP government are basically the same thing economy wise. No plan to take Nigeria off resource dependency. 2 Likes |

Re: CBN Team Inspects Lagos Red/Blue Line Projects by Asour: 3:21pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
niyisky: Not so. Many people would prefer not to have to live in Lagos if certain infrastructure were made available. Consider , for instance, if 2 or 3 Punctual (Speed) train journeys were available to leave Ibadan & Ogun through Mainland to VI & back daily. You can be sure that a lot of people (as in US & London) would live outside Lagos and come in just for work. But they would probably not do this. Also, Viable Ports should be built outside Lagos. I mean VIABLE, not just nominal ports. Naturally the hustle & bustle in Lagos would reduce. There are those who like Lagos for it's bustle but many don't. 2 Likes |

Amalekki: Between 2011-14, oil was sold at $100 and above, especially in 2012 and 13, and was higher than $90 from 2010-14...when it began to crash. GEJ sold oil above 100 dollars. The recent thread you refer to debunked the idea that oil was above $100 from 1999-2015. I know you GEJ fans live in denial, but oil was at record highs under his rule. It does not mean that Buhari is doing well either.... HERE IS THE OPEC PRICE CHART |

seguno2: Sorry, but that means you are excusing GEJ and Buhari both and other past leaders by this comment.(And my intenton in the post you quoted was to correct the mistaken impression that oil did not cross 100 dollars per barrel under GEJ, not to defend or attack any ruler ). In my opinion, the problem with Nigeria is not whether oil is above 100 dollars or less than 5 dollars per barrel. It is that we are not doing side hustle as a nation at all....in particular the industrial side hustle. 3 Likes 1 Share |
