I am not a fan of people lacking focus when they are presenting their position. You can't sustain a discussion when you shift goalposts and you come off as someone not interested in facts but just arguing to sustain or defend a defined position at all cost. That's not healthy. I don't care about APC or PDP as I see all Nigerian politicians as belonging in the same ideological bucket in realty.

Quoted below is what you wrote just a few minutes ago. why are you shifting to "That was under GEJ"?:

"When was oil sold for $100 and over $100 per barrell

A thread has debunked this APC's repeated claims...Nigeria's crude has not been sold at or above $100 per barrell."

Nigeria oil is called opec basket, get an mt4 forex trading terminal, install on your laptop and view the oil chart.
Use monthly chart, minimize the view so that you can see clearly.
grin grin grin grin grin you will see the truth.

Sorry, but that means you are excusing GEJ and Buhari both and other past leaders by this comment.(And my intenton in the post you quoted was to correct the mistaken impression that oil did not cross 100 dollars per barrel under GEJ, not to defend or attack any ruler ).

In my opinion, the problem with Nigeria is not whether oil is above 100 dollars or less than 5 dollars per barrel. It is that we are not doing side hustle as a nation at all....in particular the industrial side hustle.

I was not excusing anyone but pointing out that the federation account is jointly owned by the local, state and federal governments.
We can’t do industrial hustle with Buhari’s lazy youths that are largely out of school children. Can we

That’s not development, it’s snailish, Lagos is 4th largest economy in Africa, it’s suppose to be rubbing shoulders with big names not this one starting what people who don’t have resources have done years years back, take a look at Morocco

The project hasn't been worked on since 2017 but as usual, these propaganda accounts are only here to sell a narrative.

Oga why do you keep displaying your stupidity in HD. It is embarrassing that this project is tagged as world class. this is a project that cannot even measure up to projects in Johannesburg, Kigali, Nairobi and Casablanca and these are African cities that Lagos had started becoming a mega city far before them even when it was a capital territory of Nigeria. It is so obvious even to the blind that Lagos is being fleeced by the cabals holding the state, once anyone criticizes the present situation of the state, the person is tagged as an IPOB or an igbo man. This is the reason why Nigeria cannot progress because of nitwits like you. It is a shame to APC that the only enduring projects in Lagos are Federal projects done when Lagos was a capital city and when Jakande(The best governor who had the interest of the masses) was governor. You know the truth, but you just need to justify your paymasters that is why you are talking like this. Mind you any blood that is spilled because of your quest to knock igbos into this will bring curses to you and your unborn generations.

Show a credible source to prove GEJ sold over $100 per barrel anually. He did not, pure lies!

Do you also know the higher the crude price, the much higher the subsidy?
danilmo:

GEJ sold for $140 per barrel..
Read news.. He was so opportuned to turn Nigeria esp South to a better place but his ineptitude and clueless won't let him and that was why Nigerians voted him out, not knowing we will b entering from fry pan to fire..

The point is ..we should stop generalising that assertion as if it was during entire reign of PDP from 1999
Guy don't defend the indefensible. Gej enjoyed so much oil windfall during majority of his admin. He not only earned N51T naira from oil alone, but also depleted our foreign reserve from $43B to $27B. Despite his so much being credited with assembing the best technocrats. If Gej hadn't plummeted our FR, our economy could HV withstood the recession of 2015. Many Nigerians condemning PMB fail to understand that there is correlation btw ur foreign reserve and value of the naira. Whether we accept it or not PDP really looted Nigeria into economy doom. Now PMB is building infrastructures here and there despite paucity of funds, but he is the villain cos he refused to share money and give out juicy appointments to particular people.

When it comes to infrastructure, give it to this APC government.

Despite the oil price drop, the debts, economic crisis and all, there are toooooo many evident projects

Can we say same about a government who had oil at over $100 per barrel of oil? Yet today, all we hear Reno Omokiri saying is "we started it. We brought the idea"

If your family is not originally from Lagos, you're not from Lagos either. Being Yoruba doesn't make you an indigene of Lagos. By the way the original indigenes of Lagos are less than 10% in Lagos. They're now minority, it is what it is.
