Factshunter: There is nothing to jubilate or cry over here. These statistics are obviously false and flies in the face of reality. Most of what is peddled in Nigeria as statistics are nothing but unreliable figures churned out for political and propaganda reasons, just like our fake population figures. So stop jubilating over nothing. 2 Likes |

Juliusmalema: This is another form of dumb rhetoric that makes you people not realize how foolish you are. There are probably more touts in Ariaria market than Lagos Mainland. Imagine you ignoring all the hundreds pf thousands of professional architects, doctors, builders, school owners, lecturers, owners of businesses, captain of industries and millions of other well to do people that make up at least 70% of yorubas and use few thousand touts to project the whole tribe. And you say people hate you for no reason. 9 Likes 1 Share |

mrvitalis: Pay no attention to this dreamer. I stopped reading this rubbish at the following excerpt: "After going through several models in order to forecast the GDP for each of the state, we settle on a multiple regression model that forecast the change in the GDP Per Capita of each of the state. We derived the model by looking at the change in the GDP per capita for the whole of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015 and then examined all the socioeconomic indicators we had available to us. We settled on the following 5 independent predictors when their relationships were looked at gave us the highest statistical relevance possible in determining the rate of change in GDP per capita" Basically what they're talking about is that they took the GDP, divided by population and didn't like the results that they were getting(ie. Igbo market dominance) so they rummaged through some "models", concocted some baseless "factors" and "relationships" until they finally found the numbers that they wanted to see, Yoruba market dominance, as if that were possible even in a daydream. The OP is obviously an embittered Yoruba man. 2 Likes |

Migration is one of the major pointer of development of a particular region than the other, now people tend to migrate to most of the cities stated in the first 7-10 cities above than the rest for economic activities and for greener pastures. The the west and southern states received more influx of migrant than any other region in Nigeria 4 Likes |

Aderewah: Don't mind the daft fool, he thinks building hotels for prostitutes is a sign of wealth. He should ask his kinsmen who keep setting up multi-million naira business in Oyo. Also, those brown roof areas were built and we're the happening areas before his great grand father's ever step foot on Earth. You think that's all the city has to offer? They should Keep decieving themselves. That's how a deranged guy wants to rent a flat in bodija area of Ibadan and was preparing 120k as rent. Cos in his mind, it's Ibadan. I kukuma asked the retard to come down, took him round, the chepeast we got around was 450k/annum. He said: but they said Ibadan is cheap. The point is, they are just suicidal cos no south east state is In top 5. They forget, it's not everything you will be at the top of. 4 Likes 1 Share |

What they are bragging about sef as annual trade volume, is a weekly or monthly transaction of some aboki BDC chairmen, but you will never know cos they won't brag about it or call other people poor cos of that. But our Igbo brothers? Na so so noise of I am rich, empty barrels making lousiest noise. And they wonder why people seem to not like them generally. 2 Likes |

FreeIgbos: The ratings are not really measurements of wealth (which is difficult and controversial to measure) but measurements of development based on stated indices and GDP which is summation of all economic activities of all the people living in each State. You can however make your own research using other well established indices. 1 Like |
