The way God does his things is unimaginable.
Tope Alabi meant calling God My Guarantor alone belittled him but it was another thing that came out of her mouth. I'm sure she would have realized her mistake right on stage butshe was too abashed to acknowledge it.

But that Yinka Alaseyori is a vibe! Las las na Tope God use.

Very True words from Pastor Evangelist Mike.

The devil is a Fraudster.
In this our journey to Heaven, the Moment he sees a small chance he enters you and use you to do things that are ridiculous and if you are not careful, he will cripple your work and Assignment with God.

I thank GOD for the silence of sister Adeyinka in all these.
I also Praise GOD for opening the eyes of Sister Tope Alabi to humble herself and do the Needful.

We are very Close to the Finish line , Every Heaven Concious believer Need to be Watchful and Prayerful.
The devil has deployed all his Arsenals to bring us down so as to Miss Heaven.
We need to Watch and Pray. We need to be Wise as Serpent and Harmless as doves..

As for My Sister Adeyinka, I Believe GOD has used this whole thing to advertise you .
Remain Humble and Holy.

I am not a fan of your evangelism on nairaland and I don't want to be your fan. The situation in Nigeria has created a lot of scenarios and situations . If Nigeria were to be China or a country in Europe , most of these things cannot happen. We cannot accept Ignorance with the gospel. Everything has become a movie in the gospel where you now have superstars, stars, upcoming artists, etc. This is not the kind of gospel handed to the Church by Jesus or the kind of gospel brought by the Missionaries.

The issue of the Holy Spirit is not settled. The personality of the Holy Spirit is not settled. Who is a Guarantor or Mediator . A lot of people are left confused and you people are playing politics on the altar of Christ. The first message on the Holy Spirit that I heard was from Baba Adeboye message in 1999. Baba Adeboye in the tape said nobody has ever preached about Holy Spirit to him and the first message on the Holy Spirit he will hear was the one he preached himself after he has done a lot of studies and gathered a lot of materials.

For several months, thousands of people besieged the Internet to make enquiries if Tope Alabi is the artist that produced "Oniduro mi ". It is on the internet that it was revealed that it wasn't Tope Alabi that released that track. They mentioned the author and the copyright by Sola Allison. I also searched for the track using Tope Alabi' s name before I got this information.

Our fathers in the faith should tell us if the Holy Spirit is not our Guarantor or Mediator ? Is Tope Alabi speaking from her own imagination since the Bible says the Mouth speaks out of the abundance of the mind or is it true that the Holy Spirit is not our Guarantor or Mediator ?.

Her apology is not an apology until the issue of the personality of the Holy Spirit is addressed as it concerns Oniduro mi.

Thank you.

I love Tope Alabi but she messed up big time. I don't understand Yoruba that much but enjoy listening to her songs.....I wonder what came over her by trying to demoralised that lady, if not that she applied wisdom the matter for don tie wrapper and even nod gele join sef.

Everything shouldn't be brought to social media. You can give advice via phone call or any other private medium.....That lady should thank her stars, she has become more popular.

Um... I believe Elijah's fear was not that there was no other prophet like him. Instead, he was afraid that the evil king had succeeded in killing all of the prophets and that he was alone in escaping with his dear life - 1 Kings 19 vs 1 - 18. undecided

This was not about power or what you call grace. Jezebel sent Elijah a threat in 1 Kings 19 vs 2 , the dude panicked and ran for his life into the desert thinking that the woman had succeeded in picking out the other prophets. undecided

Evangelist Righteousness may not reply you. He's not used to doing that.
My thought is that she said things without thinking. Rash and irrational . She said when she though she has been singing the song before. But some other time when she wanted to sing it, the Holy spirit ask her to shut up her mouth. She said as a gospel astist, when you receive a song , u have to chew it, digest it , edit it before singing it. Does she mean she now know more and better that the person ( the spirit of God ) that birth and inspired the song she just received or she's talking about circular songs..?? She didn't address all of these.
Most times we blame the devil for actions that we take deliberately by ourselves. She said what she said very arrogantly and with high sense of Pride.
The word of God admonish us to briddle our tongue. A child of God that cannot brindle his tongue will say things that will make people to querry her convictions even when she has a good intentions.
Luke 9 : 23 says And Jesus said unto them all. He would wants to follow me, deny himself , take up his Cross daily and follow me. The unfortunate thing is that so many of our gospel singers have not left the world. Some of them still mingle and dine with the world.
Bishop Williams Duncan was asked to comment about Prophet T.B Joshua , He said God has not called me to criticise anybody and to say if somebody is from God or not. But rather God has called him to follow Christ and Preach the Gospel. Simple !!
Ister Tope Alabi God has not called you to criticise a song. U just focus and fix your gaze at the Resurrected Lord. Though she said what she said arrogantly and with much Pride. God will not walk with the proud or the Scounful . Humble thyself to Walk with GOD

Teachings that are not according to that which Jesus Christ commanded, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, of His followers to teach the world, as it was given to them. undecided

For instance, Jesus Christ never asked anyone to build Him churches ,nor did He ask anyone to pastor His flock or teach them anything in the way that is done in your churches today. undecided
true but what you should note is that culture and tradition always has it's influence in people be them Christian or any other faith. Jesus may have given some commandment which are not adhered to or interpreted to suite some leaders perception which is wrong. Going to church is a place of fellowship with brethren which is also good because it's in the Bible. So i don't see church buildings as something bad, but when it becomes a competition to get the largest building or largest congregation, then it's wrong.

when the Bible says judgement starts from the church..... these are some prove. The fact that one is GO or mummy GO or someone at the Pinnacle of church doesn't mean that person is not human and they're perfect. Ensure every message you hear from the is passed through fire.

1. When it comes to God and His Law, He wants things done His way or the highway meaning if it is only exactly as He commanded it be done, then it has absolutely nothing to do with Him. undecided

2. Everyone who comes to God is supposed to abandon all holds to tradition and culture , even family, in order to qualify as a follower of Jesus Christ. So what you said of culture and traditions influencing persons, and interpretation given by men to Jesus Christ's commandments, makes no sense when the Word of God is concerned - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 9. undecided
As for your churches, Jesus Christ said He will build His own Church - His own hands. So your churches are simply monuments to the glory of men and their empires here on earth. They have nothing to do with God and the things of God. undecided

Conclusion, God is not in your churches which are instead filled with men and their idols sold to the masses in the name of God, all this against God's very own comandments/rules. undecided

Christian dramatist Mike Bamiloye has waded into the issue between singer Tope Alabi and her younger colleague Adeyinka Alaseyori, Igbere TV reports.

The duo has been in the news since Saturday, June 12 following Tope’s public criticism of Adeyinka’s song ‘Oniduro Mi’ which means ‘My Guarantor’. Tope said the song belittles God’s capabilities.

Tope was accused by some social media users of being jealous of Adeyinka. She later apologised, saying she acknowledged her mistake was to have “externalised a personal message in public,” adding, “I’m awfully sorry for doing that.”

Tope’s apology came after Adeyinka asked the public to let the issue die, stating that the former is like a ‘mother’ to her.

Reacting to all that has played out between the duo, Bamiloye wrote the singers a lengthy note which he posted to Instagram on Friday.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CQRNAWlns2j/?utm_medium=copy_link

The Mount Zion Faith Ministries’ founder urged her to remain humble in her growth process.

Bamiloye told Tope that her viral comments must have taught her to handle matters better considering how influential she is in the music industry.

He then urged her to “arise” and “give us more songs from Heaven”.
