Good news. But the comments are embarrassing. These lots are already masturbating over a project that it's construction hasn't even commenced yet. Akwa ibom's MRO is 80% completed yet Akwa ibomites are not online chest beating. Smh! Empty barrels!!! |

Willgates: There is something the rest of you do that aptly show Nigerians hate Igbos. This is a nice project in Igboland that will not only generate more money but more foreign investments in future and Igbos are anticipating and celebrating it. What then is your business with what Igbos do? Did we trash talk any tribe here? Did we stop the Akwaiboms from highlighting and celebrating the new airport? Can you for the love of God tell me exactly why you chose to rain insults and cast aspersions on a civil thread where Igbos are expressing happiness over indigenous investments in Igboland?? 7 Likes |

wpadmin: You make good points! Every state should be responsible for the number and funding of LGAs in their domain....not benefit from the crafty high number of LGAs ones conniving kinsfolk in the military decided to create on a whim and hand out! Having a working and prosperous country isn’t rocket science, but some would rather have the retrogressive structure presently in place because they feel they can use it to disproportionately leech off other people’s resources while lording it over them at the same time! |

Fuckthamods:Who told you Igbos are not appreciated. I appreciate all regions - Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba, Fulani, Tiv, Ijaw, etc. While I agree with you that some places are neglected, but it is not like the way you said it. You can encourage your dad, but not criticize him. Go and invest in your land and see what happens to the previous ones who did it. You are your own enemies. On the issue of yoruba and fulani boast that Igbo cannot be president, hmmmm. Bro, just look at Fulani...I have a question. Why Fulani and not Hausa? Is Fulani not even a minority? Hmmmm! Then, you should start thinking. Hmmmm! We were even taught there are three major tribes in Nigeria in our elementary school - Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba. But sir, deep inside you..you know Igbo is small to be a major tribe. So the question is how come Igbo was tagged a major tribe? Then, you should be grateful to Nnamdi Azikiwe. But then after you got the status which means power, instead of SE to accommodate others, they started doing "yanga" to SS. Osu this, Osu that.... Real Igbo, fake igbo. Delta igbo...not real Igbo. And bla bla bla. Why? Just to push all opportunities to the 5 states only. What about Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Benin, Calabar, etc? Till date, instead of Ibo to partner with SS and come out unified...No...no no...it is ibo alone. Ibos were shocked that an Ijaw man became the president. And this is why I know Ipob and Nnamdi Kanu are dead on arrival. They are always selfish. A tree cannot make a forest. See, Lagos developed because of the Atlantic Ocean here. The other region we have an ocean is - SS. But Ibo is still putting his shoulder high there. Obasanjo overlooked Ibo and went to Ijaw and picked Jonathan. Ibo cant still think till date. Look at Orji Uzo Kalu who went from governor to chief whip of Senate..lol. A presidential material is presidential. Uzo Kalu down graded himself. So, I do not see him accepted. He has downgraded himself. Buhari for president or never. Atiku for President or Never. Tinubu for president or never. But Rochas Okorocha went for presidency and down graded to a governor, and then to a senator. Uzo Kalu too. Let me show you another person - Donald Duke. He didnt move to senate, cos he is now for president or never. I can call 10 ibos who downgraded themselves. Why? So, ibo made herself the way everyone looks at her. It is as simple as ABC. While I agree with you that you should return home and develop your place, but I cannot see the right attitude. And sir, it is the real truth...ibo will not be the president for the next 16 years again after Buhari. It is a prophesy that no one needs any spiritual gift to say. 2023 is coming to the South...and as it is, SS or SW will take it...and it seems SW will. SE will try, but you and I know that they cannot get it. Is it Orji Uzo or Okorocha or who? Please, answer. It will go to either SW or SS for 8 years. Then, it moves back to the north for another 8 years. So, ibo should be looking at 2040. This is the real truth. Therefore, I support ibo should desperately push for resource control by states. And I think a push for secession will do the magic. When they push for secession, they will eventually get resource control. And we do not need blood shed to achieve this. The truth is that for the next century, igbo may not smell Aso rock. They do not have the number. The reality is this: ibo is now a minority. Whether they accept it or not, they are now insignificant in Nigeria. And they caused it. They sold their opportunity won by Nnadi Azikiwe. Greediness on the part of those who led them. Imagine....just start listening to Ngige. Everytime, there is always an Ibo Judas in Aso rock. And Ngige with Okorocha are doing nice job selling your tribe again. |

Boudiccao: Just because you are not progressing in life doesn't mean Nigeria is not progressing, are you so blind to see the infrastructural developments currently going in throughout the country? Work on your personal life and start having a positive mindset maybe it will rub off on your personal finances and personal growth in life. People with your type of mindset don't progress in life...this is not an insult but a fact.

KingOfAmebo: I wonder why you are projecting this nonesense. Do you know me in real life to see if I'm not progressing or not? Or Igbos that are agitating for and contributing to Biafra in Nigeria and all over the world are not progressing. What a silly fallacy spewed by Unity beggars. There is no sort of rhetorics you can bring up at this time that will stop the right to self determination. In what area is Nigeria progressing after 60yrs of independence despite having more resources than a lot of African nation. Poor/little power supply, no access to public water supply, Sky rocketing insecurity, terrorism, food scarcity/high cost of food, poor health care, growing slums and Idps, more grazing routes, disregard for democracy and fundamental human rights, high cost of running business, multinational corporations keep pulling out, poor quality education, oppression of citizens etc. Literally a shithole Nation yet those in power are hiding millions of naira in their bedroom. Nigeria keeps retrogressing and you are talking of Infastructure. Infastructure fire you there. If you like build all the infastruture, in this world, as long as majority of Nigerians are living below the poverty line. Nigeria is retrpgressing rather than improving. Stop gnashing your teeth because of people that are ready to Secede. 3 Likes |

Boudiccao: Again, just because you are not progressing in life doesn't mean Nigeria is not progressing, if nobody in your family have progressed since 1960 don't blame Nigeria, your family's poverty is inherited... Dangote and many more billionaires including some of your Igbo brothers made their billions in this same Nigeria not in Ghana or any other country but Nigeria, so if anybody in your family is not a millionaire since 1960 it is not Nigerias fault but your family's fault.

KingOfAmebo: Stop being stupid. You cannot speak about who you know nothing about just because you want to defend a failed contraption that will never progress not when the right conditions for growth as stated in my previous response will never be present in Nigeria. So if people are making money does that change the fact that Nigeria has failed the rest of the polity? Does it change the fact that people go to their farms to work, only to be butchered by terrorists. Does it change the fact that people don't benefit from governance because there is actually no governance. Nigeria is never working. Whether you accept it or not, Nigeria is retrogressing and none can predict where it is heading to. 2 Likes |

This is a welcomed development! They should then make sure the design on the interior matches the beauty and quality of airports in developed countries, or even similar or better to Accra or Dakar new airports. Equip the airport with enough jet bridges (no more queuing under the sun on the tarmac). Eventually the airport should be expanded to have two terminals - one for international and one for domestic. Include ultra modern business and first class lounges to for elite guests to eat and relax before or after a flight. It would be nice for Anambra airport to become a hub for international and domestic travel. Yes, some may see it as inconvenient to stop over in Anambra before flying to London or back to Lagos, but most other airlines do the same. If you’re flying to Italy on british Airways you will definitely stop in London first for a connecting flight, or if you’re flying to Sweden on KLM you will definitely stop in Amsterdam first for a connecting flight. If the prices are competitive enough, people will choose AirPeace over foreign carriers. Hopefully this will boost the economy as lots of airport hotels will spring up in the area. God bless Igbo Nation! ☀️ |

PeaceJoyLove:I may agree with some of the things you said especially with our sellout politicians but never is igbo a minority, they are not interested in voting doesn't mean they don't have the numbers, in fact i don't think sw or ss can match us in numbers, I'm early 30 and I've never voted.. Many of us out there. Igbos are simply pragmatic, we know how Nigeria operates, we know the country is a scam, we know votes don't count & we are getting smarter to know biafra is the only way to progress, except you meant 'minority' in a different context. Meanwhile SE and SS are brothers, let the media not deceive you, we fought the war together, except some part of delta and few other tribes that make noise online, they don't even have a say & majority will align easily with biafra if there's a referendum today. |

Fuckthamods:There are 5 states in SE which are ibo land. The whole 5 states is not up to Bornu which one single state in the north. What is the population of ibo? Be realistic. Fulani are more in population than ibo. Ibo is not even up to Fulani in population. Yoruba and hausas are more than ibo. See, Zik pushed ibo up there, but your leaders messed up, right from the time of Ojukwu. APGA, the real ibo political party is now dead. Who killed APGA? You fellow ibo brothers and leaders. Uzo Kalu and Okoracha are like slaves to Fulani and Hausa APC political party. With your tiny 6 states? SS and SW? Do you know what you are saying? Or should we bring out map? This is the main problem with ibos. You exaggerate too much and talk false contrary to facts. This is the main problem you all have. If you all vote, you'd population is not up to either yoruba, hausa or fulani. No, ibo doesn't know how Nigeria operates. APC is a union of Fulani and Yoruba. Some Hausas are there too. And that is the leading party now. In this Nigeria, North and South West always agree. And whoever they both agree to vote for wins the seat. But ibo is always one man gang. There is nothing like scam in the nation. When Zik who is ibo became the first Nigerian president, Nigeria was not a scam. But Ojukwu led you to a war which destroyed your relationship with other regions. And instead of your leaders to amend their ways and start partnering with others, you keep separating yourselves. It leads you to this. Go amd ask SS your closest neighbor, I am sure they will rather ask the north to be the president rather than have ibo. It is the truth. Ibo needs to check itself. Never! SE (Ibo) is never brothers of SS..bro, its not about media. There are ibos in SS, but the SE ibo will never accept them. I have them as friends. The ibos in Deltas have decided to leave the five states alone and they dont even try to associate with them again. I have them.as friend. Igbo did not accept Jonathan presidency, but it was a Yoruba man who put him there. Igbo even felt bittered that an Ijaw man became the president. This is the pure trutlh. Well, I feel they should go for Biafra, but I am sure Biafra nation will not survive. It will suffer. Like you said, most have abandoned igboland, and are hustling mostly in Lagos. I just hope you get this point of mine. Ibo must be truthful to itself and accept the blunders it has made, them make amendment. If not, in the next 100 years, your people will just be shouting and they will never smell Aso rock. |

Boudiccao: You have the option of jetting out of Nigeria to any country of your choice, don't forget to use your biafran passport cuz using a Nigerian passport is a taboo for Igbos. You can't be fighting for biafraland while presenting a Nigerian passport. We the successful Nigerians will remain here in Nigeria to continue to eat the fruits of our labor.
