Ahn ahnnn...this is madness! So they think they are wiser than the countries that gave them visas? They even expect somebody's 80year old father to know the nitty gritty of his visa application? Or they don't want agents to feed again. Do all your politicians studiously understand their visa forms before journeying out? This is madness.

This is unheard of. A traveller has a valid travel documents issued by the receiving nation and you are baring him or her from travelling.
Please, all the affected persons should quickly to go to mile 2 and enter taxi to Ghana or Togo and from there reroute their trip to their country of destination.

They cannot be asking why you are leaving.

Unless your documents aren't complete which is foolish on the travellers part, or you are nabbed with contraband they cannot stop you from travelling.

They cannot even question your visa like that sef.

Once a person's documents are correct,it's not the business of the immigration to ask why are you traveling.
Immigration is not the embassy that issued the travel documents.
It's the job of the embassy of the country to ask why you're traveling to their country.
The foolishness of Buhari has spread to everywhere in Nigeria.
Nigerians should go and board in Benin republic.
Many of my friends travelled via cotonou. Very organized!

It may not end there. A while ago they stopped issuing international passports, it may extend to that. People may be required to get a letter from a traditional ruler or notable official, and may be required to put a deposit if they’re traveling for business or pleasure, pledging they will return or lose their deposit. grin
