My pet name is Gabby or Gabry but my real name is Gabriella. The reason is because in Malaysia. hardly anyone here even know how to pronounce my real name. Even my my mom couldnt pronounce it properly so thats how the pet name came. |

@OP: Not all of us like pet names. Aside, from sweetie, baby, or honey, I HATE pet names. The only reason I like those 3 pet names is because they can be used by both family or a person I'm dating/involved with. I don't minds certain words/terms/phrases of endearment though. For example, my dad calls my mother "fine woman" in Igbo and I think that ok--stuff like that, I don't mind. It's when you start going over the top, that's when I become turned off. |

I luv pet names ( dey r so romantic ) especially one dat has a meaning attached 2 it so plz drop d sugary ones like sweety, honey, sugar pie, honey pie, ( infact anytin wit pie in it ) at d door it is a major turn off & makes me nauseous. |

I, personally like my romantic pet name. Although the most common of nick names, I love it when my husband calls me: *Baby* and *Angel*. When he calls me by real name, it seems weird. I also call him: *Honey* and a variation of that for play. "Honey" just fits for him. Sometimes he would call my "sweetie", but not really a big fan of that. |
