Nnamdi Kanu's Arrest Long Overdue, Says Ihedioha Express Pointer Blog • Amadi Chinonso, Former Deputy Speaker of Nigeria and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has commended the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Mohammadu Buhari on the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the self acclaimed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) group. "Kanu has continued to threaten the peace of the country and shouldn't be treated without seriousness else we all go in for it. His arrest was long overdue." – Emeka Ihedioha Ihedioha who expressed this through a Press Release issued today, 1st July 2021 appealed to the Federal Government to prosecute Kanu in accordance with the stipulations of the law. The former Deputy Speaker also called on President Buhari to hasten up in bringing an end to the operations of bandits and terrorists disturbing the peace of the northern part of the country as these groups' operations hamper the development of Nigeria.
