God knows the end from the beginning. We all know that is true, there is not an iota of doubt in it. Man's destiny/destination is his/her predetermined life journey. With these facts in mind, i want to talk about the last days, Judgment day, the second coming of the Messiah. Is it some people's destiny to be saved and other's to die?? Does God already know the lot that will live happily ever after in Heaven and those that will rot in the eternal fire

I ask to become wiser,

To me that whole "God knows the beginning and the end" is a misnomer,
especially uttered by (conveyor-belt produced, uninformed) pastors

Certainly, if you believe in God (the Christian God), then you know you have the choice of
accepting Jesus (or not).

Our good God, if he knows the end already means he has predetermined those that will go to heaven and those that will go to hell.

Thus, you don't have a choice (if he knows the end).

We control our own destinies.
It is ever evolving.

@CoderXO. The bible says He knows the end from the beginning. We are meant to take all the Holy Book says. If there is a list of Heaven's candidates and Hell's candidates in God's eyes then,

@ poster,

man has only one destiny that can never be altered. it is just a matter of time.
and that destiny is to one day go back home to God like the prodigal son and to become a co-worker with God. when this destiny would be fulfilled depends on the individual soul.

thus, there is no hell?

@benodic

of course there is hell. but the question is what is hell. hell is not a place but simply a state of consciousness. a state of consciousness totally devoid of love is the most hellish place in existence. thus a man can live in a palace full of all the goodies in life but if his heart is filled with hatred and unhappiness, such a person is in pure hell.

love is the only way out of hell and love is the reason God sent us to the lower worlds to learn it and become spiritually mature and God-like because the nature of God is love and love only.

hmmm! not good enough,

The question is destiny though.

If you say man is destined to be with God (heaven),
no one goes to hell.

So there's a problem with the argument.

there is no problem with the argument. you have to pass through hell to get to heaven. the lower worlds where souls spent time learning the lessons of love can be seen as hell.
going through the spiritual purifications needed to become pure souls can be seen as a very hellish experience.
no one is destined to remain in the lower worlds for eternity, the lower worlds are simply schools built by God for souls to come into it in order to become spiritually mature.
only soul can determine the amount of time it needs to go through the experiences it has to go through in order to become a purified soul

@benodic

Perfectly fine (if you are not a Christian),
but the for Christians, which I am one, hell is the where those
who do not go to heaven end up.

And I can't believe anyone is destined for hell,
or else there was no purpose for Jesus to come to
the world.

I just think that God wants a perfect world, like He planned from the beginning. He sent Jesus to create an avenue for redemption. After the fixed time for man to reconcile himself to God anyone who has not accepted His gift of eternal life (Jesus) will be removed from the picture, My concern now is, after the rapture will some people still be able to make eternal life on God's half of the divide
