I don't think so, at least not in our context of sin, the dead are no longer bound by the limitations of the mundane world, they operate by different laws. And frankly the main element that brings sin, which is the flesh has been done away with, so their sin inducing desires are curbed.
Also, death brings a form of freedom, disillusion from lies, the dead now know the truth. That indeed God exists and He is in charge, so yeah.

Sin is a personality, it dwells in every one born of Adam. It is only through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which comes through Faith in Christ that we can overcome and suppress it's influence.

Sin is initially dead, the law gives life to sin, sin when brought to life, puts man to death.
It is only through atonement sacrifices that man can cleanse himself from sin and the death it brings, hence the old testament order, but God has prepared for us an everlasting atonement, one that has been done once and for all. Jesus. Only through Faith in Him as the God given messiah, who died for our sin and rose for our righteousness can we obtain salvation and freedom from sin, so wherever you are, I urge you to accept Jesus into your life He is the only one that can strengthen our weak mortality to fight and subdue the person of sin, even on the presence of the law.

The mind of a man who wants to please God is always at war with his flesh. With an impossible chance of victory. Only through the grace that comes through Faith in CHRIST can we succeed in this endless war with the flesh.
Ordinarily, every person that is born is Adam, into the world is a slave to sin by default. A new birth is needed in order to be free from the control and slavery of sin. Not a mortal birth, but a Spiritual birth again, this can only come through Faith in GOD through his CHRIST.

Is it possible to have Christ without having the Spirit of Christ? It obviously is.
If you have Christ without his Spirit, it is equivalent to a vehicle without oil, it may work for a while, but it will eventually breakdown. Being in Christ means putting the flesh to death. Having the Spirit of Christ is revitalizing the flesh into God.
It is not enough to give your life to CHRIST, like the disciples of Jesus, we must actively wait on the Lord in prayer for his Spirit.

This is a very clear passage, it his the nail square on the head.
It is not possible for the dictator of righteousness to be unrighteous, He made the rules, He set them.
The scripture says Even darkness is as light to Him.
It doesn't matter what you are going through, it doesn't matter how the world is, it doesn't matter how the world will be, I am here with a message for someone, GOD IS NOT WICKED. He is not unrighteous. The scripture says the eyes of the Lord searches through the Earth seeking for those to show Himself mighty on their behalf.
Trust in HIM. He never disappoints, Her won't start now.

Sometimes, I like to stretch my imaginations to it's limits thinking of so many wonderful and mysterious things, but then I read passages like this:

1 Cor. 2:9
But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

One can't help getting excited, no matter how much you stretch your mind. Think of the complexity of the human mind. The human brain is vast, immensely vast and intricate. If Good can design the Human Brain, then there is no fear for me, I am assured of good things.

The assurance of all faith for disciples of Christ is the Resurrection of Christ. Without the Resurrection then there would have been no need, no difference btw religions and following Christ.

A word of encouragement from the Father today. No matter how great you think your suffering is it is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. Don't give up on God, He hasn't given up on you.

Sometimes I would ponder on why God didn't just make people as robots our something so we can obey Him unconditionally. And while I don't dare say I know, I think one reason is the above mentioned, He wants us to serve Him because we want to, not out of compulsion, Humans are unique in the fact that we have the ability to separate instinctive actions from logical actions, God wants that. Be wants you to use your intuition as well as your thinking faculty. The psalmist says ago that is within me, praise the Lord.

God Demands Total Obedience
Dear Followers of Christ,

God told Abraham (Abram) told leave His Father's house and His people to a land that He would show. And He did... But there was a caveat, Abram took Lot, His nephew, in many circumstances, this would have been fine, but, going by the indication and timing of God's appearance in verse 14, we can see that the departure of Lot was a pivotal point in Abraham's life.
When God tells You a thing, He means it in every sense, do your utmost best to obey God's will as the smallest compromise can cost a lot.

One thing we can learn from Abraham, is his staunch sense of brotherhood.
Abraham as we can see here and from yesterday was a peace loving person but he would not allow any one to hurt his relatives.

Dear Followers of Christ
God never does anything for free, He has a purpose for everything, if You take this approach, it will be easier to perform interactions with God. Abraham had the mentality of a business man, he understood this principle as seen on the above passage, He knew it was impossible to serve God without receiving a wage.
The issue that comes in is that people lack patience or faith to endure till the time of God's reward. This is why most people miss out.
If you want something from God, you have to be ready to give something, and of course, God operates on His own terms so trust and patience are a must.

Even Jesus the Christ had to submit to His early parents even though He was practically their God. He also submitted to God Heavenly Father.

Dear Followers of Christ
I couldn't help bring amazed and stunned at the decisiveness and obedience of Abraham in the issue of circumcision. The scripture says, on the same day as he was told, he got circumcised. I am sure that these is the kind of decisiveness God likes.
God doesn't favor a person who even after clearly hearing the voice of God and knowing His will do good back to debate and argue over it. God loves perfect and precise obedience. The latter days of Abraham can serve as a good Hallmark on what God can do to those who obey Him.

Dear Followers of Christ,
This passage of the scripture actually stunned me for sometime. Despite the vast population of people in Sodom and Gomorrah, only for fifty people could they be saved... It was later even brought down to ten later.
Never underestimate the power of righteousness, and even more the power of an intercessor. Despite the corruption of the world, the world has yet to be destroyed.
Righteousness added with intercession can do serious wonders in an ordinarily hopeless situation. No matter the wickedness of Your family as long as You are dedicated to righteousness and intercession, there is hope.

Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
This scripture is really striking, God actually said He kept a person from sinning against Him, the ramifications of this are huge.
This has been my cry for a long time and this word came as a confirmation. It all makes sense, if a person can be influenced to sin, then a person can be influenced not to Sin.
I believe this is the righteousness that Christ came to give the world, one in which you don't have to depend on yourself alone, you have divine aid. To me this is superior.
Make it a daily prayer to ask for this, God will be faithful.

You need a Father.
Lately we've been on the negative ramifications of a person's ancestry, today is on the positive side. Indeed even as a person can be cursed by reason of his ancestry, even without the person necessarily being a bad guy, blessings can also come in this manner.
In Ishmael's case, no one can say He was lucky or unlucky, all he did was play God's part for him. He didn't have to have the faith of his Father, he didn't have to have the relationship with God his Father had, but because he was Abraham's son, he was assured of a great posterity.
Honestly I can't help feeling that no matter what mistake we think we make, it is impossible for your birth to be a mistake, every life is carefully ordained by God, don't envy anyone because of their starting point. God is in control.

Dear Followers of God
Sometimes this scripture feels fake, Isaac was not, at least according to human knowledge, Abraham's only son. But this passage refers to Isaac as his only son.
I feel that this is a type of prophesy concerning Jesus Christ.
Sometimes we do not know what we will get out of obeying God, so we overlook some of His commands.
If Abraham had known that God was planning to give his son to die for the sins of mankind, I don't know how he would react.
I feel like Abraham was a critical point in the redemption plan of God. If a man can do willingly sacrifice his beloved son, how much more God? This could have been an experiment to see if man was at all worthy of Christ. The mysteries are endless. Only God can do these.

Heavenly Father, God of all knowledge and wisdom, God of Heaven and the Earth. We thank You for Your word which You have sent today. We ask for insight, exposition and understanding into Your word. God's word today is that we must beware of people's intention, never completely trust any person; those you think are out to help may very well be the hidden snake in the grass.

God of all the Earth, we Your children humbly come before Your today. We thank You for Your marvels in time past, for all Your mighty hands have done, for You sent Your word and healed our disease.

Dear Followers of Christ,
The scripture above has a wide range of interpretations, let's see a few of them.
Before this, according to this chapter, Isaac was childless for twenty years, pretty similar to Abraham's situation... The Bible says He pleaded with God, that means twenty years of prayers. Most would have succumbed long before then. This itself is a great feat.
Then also it says that God heeded the prayer of Isaac, not of Rebekah, again, this is again similar to the case of Ishmael when He was in the wilderness with his mother. This doesn't mean Rebekah didn't pray, but... There was a very clear hierarchy shown here.
In verse 22, It says, even when there was an answer, there were more complications, the children struggled in Her, sometimes we see things that are not what we expect and start to despair, the solution is seen there, She went to inquire of the Lord. That should be your first reaction to every abnormal circumstance, inquire of the Lord, don't jump to conclusions.

Dear Followers of Christ,
If you are using the reactions of people as a benchmark, there are different levels of blessings.
A few are revealed in this chapter of the Bible.
The first here is the envy attracting blessing, this kind of blessing usually creates more enemies than friends. A lot of people are overwhelmed at this stage and fail to progress past this. This ought not to be so.
Another level is the helplessness/conviction level. In this stage, people realize that plots and schemes are useless against you because of the overwhelming blessings of God, hence they become helpless and have no choice but to make peace with your because they are convinced that God is with You.
It is my prayer today that each and everyone of us shall experience the fullness of God's blessings.
