EXCLUSIVE: WHY IHEDIOHA DENIED HIS PRESS RELEASE COMMENDING BUHARI FOR MAZI NNAMDI KANU'S ARREST

- AS SUPREME COURT IS SET TO HEAR IMO GOVERNORSHIP CASE

Following an alleged Press Release by the Former Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, applauding President Buhari over the rearrest of the leader of the separatist Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, facts have emerged why the ousted Governor has vehemently denied the Release.

In an exclusive interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, an aide to the former Governor who pleaded anonymity, revealed that all might not be well in the Ihedioha and Imo State PDP camp, following the Press Release which Ihedioha has since distanced himself from.

On Thursday July 1, 2021, a Press Release filtered into the media with the heading: Ihedioha Commends Buhari On Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Arrest. The release which went viral has since been disparaged as untrue, following a lot of media backlash to Ihedioha, across the Igbo Nation.

The aide revealed that following the recent news that the Supreme Court is gearing up to review its 14th January 2020 judgment that sacked Ihedioha as Governor of Imo State, a lot has been going on behind the scenes.

He also disclosed that Ihedioha who has been hinted as one of the anonymous financiers of the unrest in the Southeast has been tasked to show open support to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Federal Government, in order to be reinstated as Governor of Imo state.

This is coming as a surprise, because there has been whispers that Ihedioha had been in the good books of the IPOB prior to the Press Release. But he was caught in a dilemma because denying his own widely circulated press release has given his position away as a major pillar in the IPOB. A position that has seen him described as the IPOB Governor of Imo State.

There are also fears that Ihedioha might defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as one of the conditions in order to fulfill his Imo Governorship aspirations.

It will surely be interesting times in the coming months in Imo State.

Never trust the statements of short people.

They can deny at will, even with hard evidences.

Same reason God chased the devil away from Heaven

Uzodimma media fake news merchants, you guys should go and find something else to do. We all knew that Ihedioha never thanked Buhari for arresting Nnamdi Kanu. Even Uzodimma dare not thank Buhari for arresting Nnamdi Kanu not to talk of Ihedioha.

Ihedioha is not a power drunk politician like your APC politicians who can kill because of power. Go and find another propaganda.

I strongly doubt Ihedioha supports the Federal government on Nnamdi Kanu issue because he still wants to be governor of Imo State. But, you never can tell when an Mbaise man is involved.
