Imagine Leaving Out Erosion-Ravaged Anambra State??
If anyone was talking about erosions in Nigeria, and the person didn't talk about Anambra, then the person must have definitely been gossiping.
..
So, what exactly could have led to the exclusion of the Anambra Erosions On The so-called List of Erosions to be intervened upon?

As far as I'm concerned, Abia and imo states should be removed from the benefitting states because is just repetition of effort. undecided

Every single Nigerian is very much aware that gej has already completed all these projects in the South East, so why is Buhari trying to take the glory? undecided

Politics of exclusion ..

Even here on nairaland southeast ,esp enugu and anambra are always referred to and mocked as gully erosion ravaged enclaves. These are the glaring injustices and barefaced marginalisation that the mannequin and his cohorts have elevated to an art.. how many rainfalls does those listed northern states experience yearly. It's just like listing eastern states in a desert encroachment program while leaving out states like yobe, jigawa and sokoto . That is ridiculously standing a fact on its head

Tribal police should look carefully into the list and they'll observed that two (2) states were chosen from each geopolitical zone with the exception of the SS.
It should be the South south crying of exclusion especially Edo state and not SE that has Imo and Abia States on the list.

However the choice of states within the geopolitical zone is a political decision.
Aligning with the mainstream politics is key to state inclusion in this case.

Our darling daddy is trying to turn his region to Dubai and eastern state to Pakistan so that next time the people of easterners will not agitate for Biafra again. This is a clear punishment to the easterners for consistently agitating for Biafra .

Stale.. Go and find a job...even if na Mason or gatekeeping. Igbo hatred will never replace a job and means of livelihood. The Igbo will still progress in folds while you wither and fizzle out. See?

What we should be pushing for is restructuring (chiefly resource control and state police) so that states can start doing their projects without the support of the federal government. That way, no state will feel that they weren't treated well when projects are spread across the federating units.

The last thing some of these Igbos want to see is the disappearance or reduction of the popular "Buhari hates Igbos" craze that has taken a strangle hold over the East. Upon this craze some of them have built their little political fiefdoms.

That is the essense of the title of this article. It doesn't matter the inclusion of two other states from that East, nah, it must be the Exclusion of ANY of the FIVE, notwithstanding only sixteen states in all 36 are beneficiaries. You just have to do anything to promote that preconceived notion and hatred for the man. Anything outside that is unacceptable.

One of the Benefitting state is even that is Kanu, Abia, but it doesn't matter! If four had been on the list with the exception of only Abia, they caption wouldn't have changed in nature. Maybe they would have attributed it to Buhari's hate for Kanu.

It is just appalling.

This is what I can really call marginalization..

All SE states supposed to be included in the erosion project .

Considering the geographical structure of SE areas, the sands there can't really hold enough water and when it's over rain, erosion is inevitable plus poor housing planning

I have lived in jigawa state and have toured almost round the villages, I didn't see any erosion site, rather than desert, to think that rain hardly fall in this state so his will the erosion occur. Buhari what you are doing in this country against the southeasterners, it will never be well with you and your generations to come, God will punish you

Maybe, the answers to this question above might lead us directly to the proper reasons why Anambra State Was not among the benefitting States.

Very predictable.., these wannabe Hitlers everywhere in this funny country.
Obviously, You are the one consumed by hate here. And you know..
It's really "appalling" how some platoon of inebriated tribalists will always jump out of their gorry skins to sell dog poop as candy on igbo related topics!
We talking erosions here... We're not talking about desertification, meningitis or almajirism so the funding should be prioritized!

If we go through your checkered posts in this forum (a history full of endless vile rendition of fear, paranoia and hate of the igbos), we will see many instances where you derided Anambra or Enugu for her erosion problems... We won't see a single instance where you did same against Jigawa or Kano! But you want the funds for fighting erosion to be shared evenly, with folks from Niger republic! You even tucked in Nnamdi Kanus name into your eyesore of a post for effects.. And that's where the rub is; @ your patented brand of village hate!

It has taken you to no where in life and it won't do in the future! Very petty things one has to share a country with... Nothing irritates more..
