What we should be pushing for is restructuring (chiefly resource control and state police) so that states can start doing their projects without the support of the federal government. That way, no state will feel that they weren't treated well when projects are spread across the federating units.

If any state in the south is included in any “Desert Encroachment” project, I will vehemently oppose it.

Houses are sinking and falling inside giant gullies in Anambra State.
But they chose to construct a bridge and do maintenance works on a road in Abia State And call it Erosion Control.
