Going to the so-called National Assembly to seek for political restructuring of Nigeria is a dream of fools living in fools’ paradise.
The National Assembly is unduly overpopulated by Arewa Reps drawn from the excess number of states proliferated in Arewa by Arewa military dictators who supervised all the states creation exercises in Nigeria. In a country formed by different regions like Nigeria formed by three regions at independence in 1960, it’s most fraudulent to have used land mass or population as criterion to proliferate too many states (19) in the northern region, but only 17 states in the former east and west regions that formed Nigeria with the northern region in 1960. Proliferated states in the northern region tilted overwhelming political representation to the northern region.
