One of those Hinduism/buddhism/yoga meditation lingos.

Chakra means disk or spinning wheel- something like what you see on the Indian flag(although that's the Dharma Chakra).

They'll tell you that the 'chakras' are the 7 seven energy centres positioned strategically in certain parts of the body and as you meditate, you open them up one after the other- something like that.

Got to hear about it for the first time whilst watching Avatar, The Legend of Aang.
