The crime rate in Lagos at the moment is off the chart. Just last weekend while crossing the railway line at Agege pen-cinema, I was waylaid by 10 boys at about 1am in the morning (me sef get mind dey pass DAT kind place at such ungodly hour). All I felt for them was pity and anger at the society that made them. A gun and knives were brought out to make me succumb. Not today! I said to myself, Not today!! I had to switch immediately to my street OT and took up the madness to a whole new level that the street urchins and vagabonds started hailing me and apologizing. I walk pass, said to myself again; Not Today!!! Not Today!!!

This is a daily occurrence in Lagos at major bus stops and the most annoying part is, people just walk pass as if e no concern dem. Carry your own cross.
