Regressive bill. Why are they afraid of electronic voting and electronic transmission of results? Because living in antiquity gives room for roguery. Always what keeps them in there; no thought of sincere development for Nigeria.

Reading the above section of the bill, made me wondering how the spending of a politician can be tracked and by who? And even the government can be able to track the expenses successfully, then how about a situation a politician engage in "proxy-spending" through his, for instance, his sponsors and the rest?

If the North really has more eligible voters, why are they against electronic transmission of votes?
The earliest the South knows they are more in numbers, the soonest the asslicking would stop.
Always living in delusion. Did u hear PDP/Atiku claimed hacking INEC server. Didn't u see how Russia compromised US election, didn't u see how China did the same?
This means Northern Reps are more careful about the consequences of Electronic Voting than their empty headed self acclaim smart southern counterparts.
You'll forever regret electronic voting if they pass the bill. Always dwelling on non-existing facts to express ur ethno-religious bigotry!

One thing missing from the Bill is not using your own personal funds for Election.

It should be criminalized so that election funding should be strictly by donations, that way, those who thinks their principal is really deserving of being elected, should donate to such cause.

So that next time, when they don’t get the dividends of democracy, they will know it’s their fault for donating to vote a failure.

I will continue to maintain my stand on Electronic transmission of results; i will never support such, at least not till measures are put in place to avoid compromise (such measures won't come today, definitely)
The amended bill is way to go, hopefully the senate do justice to it too with speed of light.

The most People that will come here to read and criticize the house for this bill are mostly the online bandits of PDP descendants, forgetting that this bill has been in the house since Jonathan era as an acting president till date; their hero spent 5yrs on this bill and couldn't pass it. But they are coming to attack those who have the willingness to pass the bill.

And please, if you have not read the content of this bill don't quote me.
And it took buhari 6 yrs plus to pass the bill, if it was that easy buhari would have pass it in less than 5 yrs.

“Voting at an election
under this bill shall be in accordance with
the procedure determined by the
commission, which may include
electronic voting, provided that the
commission shall not transmit results of
elections by electronic means.”
What then is there if results of elections shall not be transmitted electronically?
O! So they can still manipulate them and do as they wish against our will as voters right?
