It is also rich in essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Azolla has been used for many years throughout Asia and parts of Africa to feed and grow pigs, ducks, chickens, cattle, fish, sheep and goats and rabbits. Below are many uses of Azolla:

✅ Azolla can be fed directly to fish or used as diet ingredient of an alternative protein source to produce your fish feed.

✅ Feeding Azolla directly to your poultry birds improves the weight of broiler chicken and increases the egg production of layers birds.

✅ Farmers now use Azolla to produce massive Black Soldier Fly Larvae. Dry BSF larvae contain 50% protein and 35% fat which can be fed directly to your fish and chicken and save cost of production.

✅ Azolla has been found to be a highly potent manure or Biofertilizer to grow crops and resist pest.

✅ Azolla is used in paddy fields by rice farmers to control weed and increase rice production by 20%.
