lalasticlala: I'm all the way surprise that the great Britain would have a road that looks like this. Meanwhile I'm not surprise about that of Nigeria. |

obonujoker: It's not really a curse but corruption, percentage upon percentage until the final executor would have no option than to use substandard materials for him or her to have little gain. Sometimes, government contracts would go through five different individuals or companies before it reached the individual or company that would do the job. Individual A won the contract at sum of 50 million naira. Pass it down to individual B at sum of 40 million naira. Then B pass it C at sum of 35 million naira, downwards like that. The executor might get it at 25 million naira and he wouldn't make any gain if he was to use quality materials, so he would resort to substandard materials. I have witnessed this scenario twice. 2 Likes |

Persistent neglect of the road has made it to be very bad to this extent. |

Sheisenough01:d quoted. Senseless excuse. Is otta a border town too? Is sagamu a border town too? Is ijebu ode border town too? Is abeokuta a border too? When ngige was governor of anambra state, he reconstructed federal roads from anambra state into imo state with anambra govt money. Amaechi as governor of rivers state dualised and reconstructed federal road, ph-owerri road from ph to welcome to imo state. That nama called okorocha refused to do the imo end. Even if road is in a border town, u reconstruct it to the end of the border. 1 Like |

observanc1: You missed my point but move on. I am talking about a particular location. The main reason the project remains incomplete is due to taking on too much load when the government didn't have the financial capacity to see it through. |

Hmmm.... so proud to post anything to bring down your own country. How many years for Britain as a country? How many years for Nigeria as a country? How can Nigeria ever develop with sooo many crosses to bear? |

Sheisenough01:If I get your previous post, your point is Akute is not core Ogun state so should be left to suffer. I've not travelled the whole of Ogun state o but I can say Akute road dey learn where ota road dey, abi ota na border too. It's not core Ogun but when it's time for election they come with convoy to that border town to campaign. It is well o. That one that calls himself governor said he doesn't know Ogun roads are bad but he campaigned abi throughout the campaign he was in the air. Let's be truthful to ourselves ojare 1 Like |
