The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor has confirmed that the Nigerian Airforce jet was gunned down but said the pilot survived.

Speaking in Kaduna during an interactive session with retired senior military officers in the North West, Gen Irabor remarked that since the incident happened the armed forces were trying to locate the plane and the pilot.

It's really a tragedy to see the way the armed forces of Nigeria always tags and make light the crashing of very expensive military hardware.

Pls confirm this, Airfocre jet went on a mission in one state, was gunned down in a different state.
