If not for Biblical purpose, I see no reason I should get married. These men don't deserve it.

It's different if you are planning on marrying a girl and something serious like health challenge happens and you later cancel your plans.
Why keep a woman in your custody for years when you know you won't marry her? What's the sense in it?
God will punish you all marriage-promise-breakers. It will not be well with you all.

I am not even reacting to the thread base on the subject matter. I am reacting to the thread base on how men waste women's time all in the name of marriage. God will punish them.
And point of correction. I am not on NL for likes. If I wanted likes I would say sweet words about men. To hell with NL likes. I am here as a voice for women.

It seem you don't know who men are. The worst pretenders I have ever seen. Some would go as far as introducing you to their family members and coming to see your family for introduction. Deep down they know they won't marry you. They will leave you to public disgrace.
Forget it. If I tell you my story you will weep.
I don't wish any woman what I've gone through in the hands of men.

They key word here is "MARRIAGE FOR CLOUT". Meaning that no matter how good this girl is, he will still dump her after his clout chasing days are over.

So i am wondering who are you going to eventually get married to? Is it a man or spirit? Because of the way you have generalized and painted every man with the same brush. If the way you sounded from your write up is actually your mentality and how you reason then i will advice you not to marry. You are very bitter and it will definitely affect your relationship with your spouse. Maybe you should check yourself. There are lots of couples living in peace and harmony. What if you find out that the vixen also has a role to play in what caused the break up? That the guy said he married her for clout might just be him trying to show he is not hurt by the break up. Marrying her as a second wife is not the problem especially when you are a Muslim but for clout is the problem, despite she must have misbehaved. If the marriage is for clout, why so frustrated and emotionally disturbed, showing it publicly that you are down. It should be good riddance to bad rubbish. From the video, it seems though you are disappointed, but you still love her and missed her, so don't have to make a public show of it, with this "clout" thing and other damaging words, since in future one thing may lead to another and you are back together again. You may be over reacting
