oluztx: That was before Buhari. Yorubas have finally been jolted by a rude awakening to the realities of the Northern agenda. Why do you think theres now a clamouring for Yoruba nation? Why is the govt hell-bent on arresting Sunday Igboho? Why are the Yoruba governors uniting with the Eastern and South-south governors in recent times? Buhari is ironically a blessing to Nigeria because he has exposed the whole South to the Northern agenda which seemed only to be a conspiracy theory apriori. The oneness of Nigeria has never been this threatened as the whole of the South has seen the light. Ojukwu saw it early enough and clamoured for Biafra. But finally the rest of the South has come to its reality and I believe something is brewing in the South that has made the North obviously jittery. At this point, Nigeria as we knew it is dead. A new set of nations will inevitably begin to sprout. No we cannot achieve this through all-out war because truth is the North has overtaken the Military force. However we can achieve this by following due process of a democratic government and reaching out to World Powers for intervention. Cos as OP rightly said, the North is not going to give up their treasure island easily. 3 Likes |

Buckeyemedia1: Sorry to break your bubble, once South unites, federal government will automatically become Northern government which is what it is in disguise. Every other thing hitherto owned by the federal government will be confiscated by the regions where the assets fall under. And yes, Lagos will become part of Oduduwa. Focus on Kano and Kaduna, because even Abuja will elude you guys if care is not taken |

Myer: Everything you said is the reality except the part in bold. The North has taken over the vast riches of the South and is enjoying it without putting in any work while we the owners are suffering terribly. They know that even though we are performing far below our potentials as a country (which is also caused by them to enable them have effective control over us) they still know it's perfect for them. Look at the NNPC who controls everything there? Fulani. Look at the NPA, Customs, Army, Police, oil wells, government, parastatels, agencies, ministries etc who controls them? Fulani. It becomes more outrageous when you consider that these people controlling everything are contributing next to nothing!! If you think that these guys will abandon this Utopia and give up to a gloomy life where they would be condemned to obscurity, poverty and anarchy without a fight, then you're not being realistic. These people will fight to death to ensure the status quo remains but South will still defeat them resoundingly. Stop being afraid of war because that's the only propaganda and manipulation tactics they now use to deter South from breaking free. Igbos have already understood that scare tactics and that is why you see some of the separatist groups using same war mongering rhetoric against them. Lastly, the outside world won't intervene except it becomes the last option. They know that North is already a failed region and they're using South to subsidize and moderate the region from becoming a festering Isil and other Islamic terror groups stronghold. So, they won't intervene except there is war or a threat of serious warfare that could lead to refugees crises. |

Good luck in your new country. |

Buckeyemedia1: You are still living in the past. Which rules are you talking about? Is there anything like rules when there is total breakdown of law and order? You don't even seem to understand that Nigeria is headed towards that direction. If the Southern masses are not in support of Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu, do you think they would have followers? My dear fulani, there are now millions of people with the mindset of Nnamdi Kanu and Igboho in the South and that's why killing or jailing them would make no difference but instead would worsen everything. |

heniford2:Is Biafra Northern Nigeria? I said those properties you have East of the River Niger will be confiscated by the Republic of Biafra, no land agreement pursuant to The Lands Use Act 1978 of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, will be recognized by Biafra, all assignments null & void ab initio, What is so hard to understand? People’s Republic of China did it, North Korea did it, Vietnam did it also, I believe your people are familiar with the sacrifices those countries went through to get to where they are today? You will give up your properties for the benefit of the land of the rising sun, Obi Cubana will give up all his properties, E Money also, Emmanuel Inwanyawu, Arthur Mbanefo & host of others, just to please you, Mazi Kanu & ipob, that can’t brag of one plot of land anywhere East of The River Niger, Everyone must start from scratch, we want to get rid of the capitalist system of Zoo Nigeria? |

oluztx: True and I wonder what the Yorubas are afraid of. If we had another Igbo like group in the South, Nigeria would have been at least disintegrated into two countries by now. The truth is Nigerians apart from the Igbo are Docile and are afraid of a break up. Imagine fighting for your freedom(igbo/ipob) and self determination and Nigerians are busy laughing and mocking you. Whichever way you look at it, Southern Nigerians are stupid. I'm always proud to be Igbo,we push and resist vehemently, it is left for the rest of the South to rise and put a stop to this nonesense, either restructure or declare their nation. 1 Like |

I'm a Yoruba. This is simply insightful! Our Igbo brothers need to do away with the hate they harbor in their hearts for Yorubas from the first Civil War and not fall for the Hegelian Dialectic. This contraption called Nigeria is ripe for implosion. And another impending doom most people are not paying attention to is the surreptitious Islamization of Nigeria. Let the entire South unite as ONE. I love all my Igbo brothers all of over the world. May God be with us all. FreeIgbos: 2 Likes 1 Share |

heniford2: The 5 SE states that can't survive without FG allocations still want another unviable state for dick measuring contest? While 5 whole SE states are begging to be dashed a port, Lagos state got licence to build 2 new seaports, Lekki and Badagry, new international airport at Lekki even while they were in opposition. Edo just got approval, Akwa-Ibom is working on Ibaka seaport, but 5 leprous, lazy SE states are demanding to be dashed a seaport. What jokers are these? Even when SE people controlled Jonathan's govt, they forgot their people needed FG roads, railway, airports. They were renting private jets, sharing contracts they will not execute, and completely forgot they needed second Niger bridge. Now as usual beggars, who can't do anything for themselves, they are asking to be dashed the whole world first before other parts of the country gets anything. If any region deserves any additional state it's the defunct Western region which have only 8 states compared to the defunct Eastern region that today has 9 states. Making Eastern region 10 states and having 30 senators will be aggravated injustice and marginalization of the Western region with only 8 states and only 24 senators. |

LushGreenz: I'm Igbo, but believe me, both Igbos and Yorubas are under serious threat. I don't need to be a CIA agent to know that Nigeria is sinking deeper into terrible mess and a massive storm is coming. It's either we unite and fight as one so we can be able to defeat what is coming or we continue bickering among ourselves and be annihilated. The feudal leaders of the North also know that the day Igbos and Yorubas team up holistically with one accord is the day it would be game over for them. Ordinary Southern governors meeting had them foaming in the mouth yet these people have been having Northern governors meeting and all manner of Northern meetings without Southerners begrudging them. Yorubas and Igbos are not enemies, at least we have never fought each other in Lagos or anywhere else. Simply because we are too educated and progressive. Those occasional arguments or banters enlightened people normally engage in. It is similar to all these Nigeria vs Ghana or Kenya threads we see in nairaland or elsewhere. |

The North won't agree to cessation unless we fight ruthlessly for it. I agree with all your points but one thing to note now is that the past years, the north already understands your theory and they've moved most of the government MDAs, Parastatals and Commission to Abuja. Nnpc, cbn, ddppr, npa, firs, nerc, nma, nirsal, pefmb, ncc etc are all in the north now, nigerias whole armoury of weapons is situated in the north, there's no federal character in the military today as most juicy positions are controlled by them. They foresee an uprising and are slowly making plans to nip it in the bud. The yoruba leaders are as blind as their forefathers. The tinubus nd co are just slaves nothing more who will rather put their personal ambition in place of collective ambitions. My theory is this; if we don't scatter anytime from now. The north will solidify their status forever. Even world powers have always sided with the north cus they aren't that smart to understand how western powers wants african nations underdeveloped forever. Nigeria is a country that wasn't suppose to be, we keep living on borrowed time. This is a jungle. If we succeed in separating, they would be no victor or vanquished, just different tribes licking their wounds and burying the dead. |
