The Presidency made reference to Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari’s recent description of the calls on “foreign powers to meddle in the internal affairs of Nigeria” as the “highest level of unpatriotism.’’

If not that we are patient in this country, is someone like Buhari suppose to be talking about patriotism Someone who favours a particular section over another

Nobody has defaced Nigeria more than Buhari!

Nepotism, lack of security, you expect people to sit and fold their arms while the bandits majestically walks in and kill them Then you send their penis to China

You left the North where even a governor, El-rufai had to withdraw his child from school for fear of kidnappers and filled the South especially the South East with check points

You detained and kill people fighting back.

Governors came to you, you sent them back! They made laws to protect their people, you as a president backed those killing them undecided

Of recent is the face-off between custom and the people of Ibarapa, if the customs are really doing their work, how are the guns coming in

Shoot at sight but Gumi was seen with the bandits with guns!

Should we wait till we are all killed before you admit that we have not only being patient but tolerant as well

What more can the Nigerian people do to proof their patriotism before a terroristic president

when there's no good thing to say about your country do you expect them to start lying like you Garbage Shehu? If there's any good thing about Nigeria I will say it but since there isn't I will also say it as it is. I'm not a liar

Even you that means there is nothing good to say about yourself, one the unfortunate human problems the country is saddled with.

The Presidency has warned those disparaging Nigeria and its citizens outside the shores of the country to desist from it, saying that they should be patriotic as they have nothing to gain from “badmouthing” the country when abroad, Newspremises reports.

The Presidency also said Nigerians who make calls for foreign intervention in Nigeria’s affairs, are acting in bad faith.

This was contained in a statement signed by Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu on Wednesday, July 21, following the end of the Sallah festivities.

Shehu made reference to Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari’s recent description of the calls on “foreign powers to meddle in the internal affairs of Nigeria” as the “highest level of unpatriotism.”

He cautioned Nigerians to be good ambassadors of Nigeria if they want foreigners to think positively about the country.

The statement reads: “There’s nothing to gain by disparaging your country overseas. Every citizen must respect their nation. Those countries they go to and say bad things about Nigeria, their citizens dare not do that.

“When they go outside, they speak well of their nation. They are ambassadors of their own country. They are salesmen for their nations. Why do we go out and tell the worst stories of our own country?

“I think that Nigerians have to change. If we don’t love this country and if we don’t promote it, nobody will do it for us. This is very clear from the message Governor (Aminu) Masari (of Katsina State) issued a few days ago.

Why should they be patriotic in covering evil, lies and nepotism?

The reason why evil persist is when good men don't talk

When you meet an American will he tell you that there are 39,000 gun deaths in USA, Chicago is more dangerous than Mushin or Sambisa forest, don't come for vacation and live or do business in America? When you land their you'll find out.

But foolish Nigerians will be the one to tell any random foreigner that there is insecurity, don't come, there's bad govt, we have robbers and many true and imagined woes. Even when we have far less gun related or violent deaths in Nigeria.

WHat's the difference? Common sense and basic self interest makes the difference in approach to dealing with issues. Did the American lie to you? No, but he understands his interest more than Nigerians. Nigerians are fond of protecting foreign interest to the injury of their own national interest. It can only be inferiority complex

Meanwhile the same person sayng he cannot lie will approach embassy with false documents, fake age declaration, false bank statement, such that Nigerians are know to foreigners as compulsive liars.

Even the dude saying he cannot lie is a liar.

They should continue, they'll learn the hard way and the foreigners will still cash out and politicians free to roam as they see fit while the citizens are duly caged.

There is nothing to gain in stealing the common wealth of your people and stashing it abroad.

There is nothing to gain in going for medical treatment abroad while your citizens die from lack of health facilities

There is nothing to gain when leaders send their children to study abroad while ASUU is on strike

There is nothing to gain in leaders using common patrimony to buy houses abroad while your citizens live in squalor

There is nothing to gain in sabotaging your refinery, petrochemical plant, steel mill, aluminium plant, bitumen plant so that you can import from abroad while your citizens are unemployed

When you incite violence and create war, foreigners will come to make cash off you, enslave you then leave you to suffer, go ask rwanda, Afghanistan, syria, iraq

Will you shut up there. grin

Saying the truth about what is happening is now inciting violence. You complain more about imaginary violence than actually genocide that is happening throughout Nigeria.

Here's your presidential aide Bashir the Madman calling for civil war over fuel price yet he was rewarded by your brainless Buhari and Garbage Shehu. grin

What is more disparaging than the presidency going to a foreign country to commit extraordinary rendition, an international crime?

Is it some 6 minutes video of vituperations that will now be more disparaging?

Idiots!

Israel, USA committed many abductions/kidnap abroad and nothing happened.
USA even went to arrest the sitting president of Nicaragua and hauled in an American court, no lele.

It's laughable when these abokey monkeys in the presidency claim that it is unpatriotic to ask foreign countries to intervene in it's affairs.. When this same monkeys wanted to kill Biafrans enmass in the 60s, didn't they ask Britain, Russia, Egypt, UAE to give them bombs, and military hardware with which to kill Biafrans?
