Olympics and World cup are not the same,it cost South Africa 3 billion dollars to host the world cup,the last winter Olympics in South Korea cost 12 billion dollars undecided while the last summer Olympics in Brazil cost 11 billion dollars

Nigeria cannot host the Olympics,we do not have the money or infrastructure for it,the same Nigeria that is in heavy debts and is still borrowing money.
Let's not forget the issue of security,very important for something of this magnitude.

If a leader with a correct mind gets there we can pay off our debt in 4 years
Start developing so that in 20 years we would host the Olympics cool

They tried their best

They should have avoided going the old conventional route, it's not the same without home crowds. They should have redefined the opening ceremony. They are the most technologically advanced country on the planet - I expected much more innovation. Too old-skool for my liking.

Japanese ancient culture doesn't excite me much, although I have nothing against them. I expected them to push the limits given their technological prowess, but it was same-old, same-old.

I watched til South Africa came out and it was team 197 shocked No appetite to watch further after that judging from what I saw in the beginning. Yawn!
