Bitchy CBN!

~Wakes up, bans crypto.
~Sleeps and Wakes up, decides to create a digital currency (while there is a ban on digital currency)
~it’s primary concern ‘The Naira’ continues to wobble towards gabbage like a drunken depressed modafoka.

Tell me something, “no be ‘mumu’ be that?
These ones want to use our money to play virtual.

There's no ban on crypto.

Would you buy Nigeria's digital currency?

Will you buy the Naira, today. Be honest. What are the indices that make the Naira an attractive currency, medium to long term (not short term punts...scalping)

Why did you say that, what makes you say that? Just curious

First, their system is not decentralised, every trader's financial transaction will be monitored, now imagine a terrorist sponsoring country like Nigeria monitoring your transactions?

Secondly, It will collapse at the long run since the system that propels it is not sustainable. Thirdly, the idea is to reduce the sale of Naira. If that happens, the value will increase. But for how long?

Bottom line: artificial scarcity is a sham.

Once again, another quasi policy from the CBN; no sincere economic breakthroughs.

doing and undoing? Well, they have no choice. You baned something overnight without prior notice and you expect it to last?

How can you said such thing? I don't know why some Nairalanders don't know how to talk. You will make the northerners hate your Osibanjo and we will give an Igbo man that is loved by northerners. Oji Ozor Kalu is your next President, we have decided not to give Yoruba's power because they are arrogant.

Great....you can shove your presidency up your dirty asses and give it to the flatin0s.

In all honesty if I were Osinbajo I’d be fed up of this country’s people. Imagine playing dumb to laudable stuff like this and then giving a blanket yapping to members of the administration when it’s stuff they don’t like. If not for this man that would have been the end of digital currency in this country.

They should first of all lift the ban on other crypto assets and Twitter before dreaming to own crypto.

The CBN should also know that the real boost to digital assets are not the investment from a single country's patronage but the global market.

Bitcoin is American but their biggest market is China, India and Nigeria. China recently lunch a state owned crypto but I doubt if 10% of Nigerian crypto investors knows the name.

The CBN creating our own crypto currency while placing a ban on the rest is outrageous and ignoramus the project is dead on arrival.

Bitcoin is American? Looooooooooooool

Prof Osinbajo is very intelligent and undoubtedly a man who plans for the future. Nigeria having a crypto of its own isn't bad at all, we just have to put certain things right.

This would be recalled VP Osinbajo had spoke on the controversial issue that blockchain technology was generating at the time. He had urged the CBN to regulate and not prohibit cryptocurrency.
