RiceProducers: Irrelevant. That individuals may posses a diverse origin doesn't mean the identity of the collective is questionable. Take Yoruba for example - origin is clear Whether we have a few who married out or not, it changes nothing about the collective ancestral heritage |

aribisala0:I don't know what u are ranting about. Industrial scale you're emphasising on simply means "something of or on a scale suitable, intended, or necessary for industrial use; (hence also) large-scale". So, why all the noise when the intended meaning is clear and urs is based on poor understanding and trying to twist what u don't even understand. Your claim of mastering English is a mockery to ur certificate! |

Coronabirus:Funny guy YOU said Industrial scale The key word in that phrase is "SCALE" which is a noun. You qualified it with an adjective to tell us WHAT TYPE OF SCALE Industrial is an adjective which in this context simply means BIG It has nothing to do with Industry which is a Noun in the context that you ignorantly try to construe it You are the same ignoramus that told us that before the 10th century there were no industries Dealing in slaves on an "industrial scale" give no indication to what purpose you are going to deploy the slaves all it tells us is the SCALE of the trade i.e volume Now going to the question of "industrial use " What does that mean ? That is a very different concept from industrial scale. Not related at all Now tell us what industrial use slave taken to America were used for besides working on sugarcane and cotton plantations etc And how the use by Arabs was NOT INDUSTRIAL If you buy one condom a day that is personal use. If you buy 500 that is industrial scale |

Jerryherd: Slave trade was the most profitable trade of the Sokoto caliphate. The Fulani jihad only took control of the 7 Hausa states and they were not interested to spread Islam to pagan tribes since this will hinder the raiding of these pagans for slaves. Since Muslims can't sell fellow Muslims as slaves. The Fulani ruler can't sell Hausa as slaves but they can raid pagan tribes like Bauchi (Bauchi means land of slaves in Hausa), Plateau, Nassarawa, Niger, Kebbi and generally areas you will see Christians today in northern Nigeria. For example, Tafabalewa father is from a none Hausa from Bauchi, hence he was enslaved by the Fulani. 1 Like |
