Christianity in recent times has been commercialised and Church Founders or General Overseers are cashing out on the ignorance of the the members of the congregation who are brainwashed to think they are giving to God.

The truth is that it is good to fund the promulgation of the gospel of Jesus Christ but the G.Os of most churches now divert such money to fund their extravagant lifestyles, build schools, hospitals and luxury homes that the poor church-givers may never have access to.

Imagine Living Faith Church giving Pastors the sack because they were unable to extort much from members of the congregation in their respective branches.

Please what's your comment on these issues?

The commercialization of Christianity is not recent as it has been so since even before the Council of Nicea was convened and men vied for power and wealth inthe name of God. undecided

The world has always been. undecided

The Church that belongs to Jesus Christ was built by Jesus Christ Himself. What you call churches are instead built by the hands and will of your pastors and Mogs. undecided

The content said they were unfruitful which can only mean two things, either they were not winning souls or it could mean they were not bringing in enough money.

Don't assume. The word unfruitful could mean another thing, the issue is the ambiguity.

In this context, what else could "unfruitful" mean?

Only if the greedy church members who want fast miracle money know the content of that book called bible and be free, who could possibly extort money from them ?

They tell them the more you give the more you get, the more you shout AMEN in church over some people's testimony the quick is your cash out
