Don't be stupid.
Ohanaeze are a disgrace.

When Asari Dokubo opened his decayed mouth and called Ndiigbo slaves, did IYC or INC issue any apologies to Ndiigbo?

What exactly is wrong with you lots?

Imagine you calling Ijaws your brothers, some of you are mentally retarded.

It was this same Clark that insisted in 2005 that Peter Odili cannot be VP to Yaradua, because according to him, Odili was Igbo and Igbos has no place in Niger Delta or South South.
I'm pretty sure you didn't grow up in the nigerdelta. I grew up there ... im very aware of the deep hatred/ envy against ifbos there. .... but I'm also very aware Clark and aware only command the audience of a minority of niger deltans' even if they choose to be stupid we don't have to join them. Britain and America were sworn enemies but had to settle their differences to combat nazi Germany WHILE SAFE GUARDING THEIR INTERESTS. These niger deltans/ Ijaw hve a right to utter anything they'd like ...we don't even have to love ourselves but WE DESPERATELY ALL NEED TO UNITE AGAINST THIS COMMON ENEMY. I have ijaw friends that are even more pro biafra than lots of igbos so yes they're my brothers. Asari has come out countlessly to push for biafra. I don't know why him and mnk had a fall out but in these times there's a common enemy. We need to unite. Stop being emmotional and think rationally. Which strategy will help us now? Many years back, after deeply looking at the quagmire and bleak future of Nigeria as evidenced by the steady slide into anarchy and economic collapse as evidenced today, i came to the conclusion that Nigeria's problem should be pinned on only one word - "Leadership", or only a short phrase - "Bad Leadership".

This bad leadership from the succession of mostly traitors that have held power since independence till date is what has reduced us to this present day shambles of insecurity, poverty, corruption, ethnic strife, terrorism and inflation at near apocalyptic levels.
This failure in leadership cuts across the entire ethnicities and regions of the country and across all levels of leadership from political down to sociocultural level, but since Ohaneze Ndigbo is the topic of this forum, i will use that body as an example.

Ohaneze Ndigbo and indeed the entire leadership of the Igbo race at every level failed mightily in the managing and potential solving of the Nnamdi Kanu and Ipob situation.
Nnamdi Kanu erupted into the consciousness of the entire country about 6+ years ago via his daily broadcast on the Radio Biafra station on the FM band.

It was unlike something we had ever seen before. The hate, the disrespect, the anger, the profanity, the insults, and the ethnic epithets that characterized his daily outbursts sent chills down my spine and gave me a panic attack after about a week of listening to the Radio Biafra station.

My first reaction and expectation was that the Federal Government if they had any capacity of reasoning should have quickly yanked that station off the airwaves (i didn't know if that was possible at the time, though a professional told me it's possible for a radio station to be blocked from a country's territorial bandwidth).

The inability to block that broadcast was a devastating failure on the part of our government and the NCC. So Kanu and his instrument of hate motored on for several months dishing out torrents of toxic, inciting and insurrectional messages from his covert location which was later reported to be in the UK.

Since the FG failed to block the broadcast, one would have thought Ohaneze Ndigbo being a crucial stakeholder around the situation would have taken the baton and shown leadership. They failed.
I've personally think that the leaders of the Igbo race would have resolved the situation with the ease of swatting a mosquito, had they wanted to. But the way they stayed silent, and aloof throughout those months made me realise how our bane of leadership had been steadily eating us up as a country entirely.

Are there genuine reasons of concern for the Igbo people of Nigeria that justifies agitation and protest? Oh yes, but for the entire Igbo leadership of the country from the political class down to the Sociocultural organisations to jettison their priviledged positions and rights of authority and hand it over to a random man who came from nowhere with a message of manic hate, anger and ethnic aversion was just a disgrace and tragic betrayal of the entire Igbo race.
Nnamdi Kanu did a lot of damage to the youths of this country. (The Igbo youths in particular)
I was shocked to discover that a lot of my enlightened Igbo colleagues across different states of the country endorsed Kanu's message of hate.
I always told them that if they felt comfortable with the way Kanu used hate, insults and epithets daily on his broadcasts, it made a mockery of all their years of getting an education.

Ohaneze Ndigbo is sending mixed messages up till today. Months back when IPOB thugs were inflicting terror and destruction on innocent people in the east, they condemned them and denounced their practices, but now they are sending representatives for him in court - for what?

They have a responsibility to help cleanse the minds of countless youths in their region that have been morally damaged under Kanu's influence.
If they believe Kanu has done a lot of wrong, then what is this running in circles?
When will they wake up to their responsibilities of leadership.
Entire generations of your are at stake.
They must act right now!

Ohanaeze Ndigbo made it abundantly clear that the Igbo extol old age with courtesy and reverence, noting that old age is so treasured in Igbo land that the eldest man in a village or community, in most cases, enjoys community burial and funeral rites at death.

To start off, Ohaneze needs to shut their freaking mouth up if they have nothing of substance to say. As far as I am concerned, RESPECT is reciprocal. You have to accord respect to get one. If an OLD man has no respect for himself, there's NO way one is accorded to him. So, Ohaneze should STOP this IDIOTIC notion that just because one is OLD then he should be respected regardless of how FOOLISH the old man is. You only get what you deserve. With FRIENDS like Edwin Clark, Igbos need NO enemy.

Edwin Clark does not even live in the SS region.
He has abandoned the oil polluted SS and gone to settle in Abuja

It must be Edwin Clark who PMB said assured him that SS is not part of Biafra, if not, what made Clarke take to his recent attacks on agitation for Biafra?

Hope they listen, Ohanneze better speak sense into the head of the misguided people that have landed their leader into a cage like monkey

Just because Chief Clark told them that Delta state and most parts of the Niger Delta were not part of Biafra.
Again this is the fear expressed by most Deltans I've discussed with, the seeming use of force and condescending language to drag Deltans into Biafra against their will. They fear they will suffer a worse fate than whatever sour deal they were getting in present day Nigeria. I dare say that if IPOB continues on that trajectory, then Biafra will remain a dream

Brilliant and gifted people from the Southsouth understand that it’s not possible to get Niger Delta Republic or Ijaw Republic, or Akwa Ibom Republic, or indeed any new country in the Southsouth from Nigeria unless Biafra exits from Nigeria. Brilliant people from the Southsouth understand that it’s EASIEST to get Niger Delta Republic, or Ijaw Republic or Akwa Ibom Republic, or indeed, any Republic in Southsouth from restored Biafra

Hence these brilliant people from the SS support first restoration of Biafra.

But dunces or the non brilliant persons in the Southsouth specialize in their “no part of the Southsouth shalll be part of Biafra,”
in the process, they prolong continuation of dysfunctional one Nigeria.
