TRIBUTE TO LATE OONI OBA OKUNADE SIJUWADE

A man’s real life is that accorded to him in the thoughts of other men by reason of respect or natural love.
The death of my father the late Ooni of Ife,Oba Okunade Sijuwade like many great Nigerians, brought the usual avalanche of tributes from far and wide. Based on the time-honoured principle of never speaking ill of the dead, the tributes were generally positive.

Baba showed what is possible for our world and within each one of us — if we believe, dream and work together. Let us continue each day to be inspired by his lifelong example and his call to never cease working for a better and more just world.
