I'm still in shock as I type this. I have been living with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) all my life and for once I couldn't figure it out until I turned 30years old. It's so sad how I have wasted time, resources and strength on things I could have done easily but I faced with struggle for the past twenty years.
My name is Micheal, I decided to write this piece (The Story Of My Life) so that other people out there could learn from it.
Before I commence the story, telling you a little about ADHD won't be a bad idea isn't it?

Symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
The symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can be categorised into 2 types of behavioural problems: inattentiveness, and hyperactivity and impulsiveness.

Most people with ADHD have problems that fall into both these categories, but this is not always the case.

For example, some people(like me) with the condition may have problems with inattentiveness, but not with hyperactivity or impulsiveness.

This form of ADHD is also known as attention deficit disorder (ADD). ADD can sometimes go unnoticed because the symptoms may be less obvious.

Symptoms in children and teenagers
The symptoms of ADHD in children and teenagers are well defined, and they're usually noticeable before the age of 6. They occur in more than 1 situation, such as at home and at school.

Inattentiveness
The main signs of inattentiveness are:

having a short attention span and being easily distracted
making careless mistakes – for example, in schoolwork
appearing forgetful or losing things
being unable to stick to tasks that are tedious or time-consuming
appearing to be unable to listen to or carry out instructions
constantly changing activity or task
having difficulty organising tasks
Hyperactivity and impulsiveness
The main signs of hyperactivity and impulsiveness are:

being unable to sit still, especially in calm or quiet surroundings
constantly fidgeting
being unable to concentrate on tasks
excessive physical movement
excessive talking
being unable to wait their turn
acting without thinking
interrupting conversations
little or no sense of danger
These symptoms can cause significant problems in a child's life, such as underachievement at school, poor social interaction with other children and adults, and problems with discipline.

Related conditions in children and teenagers with ADHD
Although not always the case, some children may also have signs of other problems or conditions alongside ADHD, such as:

anxiety disorder – which causes your child to worry and be nervous much of the time; it may also cause physical symptoms, such as a rapid heartbeat, sweating and dizziness
oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) – this is defined by negative and disruptive behaviour, particularly towards authority figures, such as parents and teachers
conduct disorder – this often involves a tendency towards highly antisocial behaviour, such as stealing, fighting, vandalism and harming people or animals
depression
sleep problems – finding it difficult to get to sleep at night, and having irregular sleeping patterns
autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) – this affects social interaction, communication, interests and behaviour
epilepsy – a condition that affects the brain and causes repeated fits or seizures
Tourette's syndrome – a condition of the nervous system, characterised by a combination of involuntary noises and movements (tics)
learning difficulties – such as dyslexia
Symptoms in adults
In adults, the symptoms of ADHD are more difficult to define. This is largely due to a lack of research into adults with ADHD.

As ADHD is a developmental disorder, it's believed it cannot develop in adults without it first appearing during childhood.

But it's known that symptoms of ADHD often persist from childhood into a person's teenage years and then adulthood.

Any additional problems or conditions experienced by children with ADHD, such as depression or dyslexia, may also continue into adulthood.

By the age of 25, an estimated 15% of people diagnosed with ADHD as children still have a full range of symptoms, and 65% still have some symptoms that affect their daily lives.

The symptoms in children and teenagers are sometimes also applied to adults with possible ADHD.

But some specialists say the way in which inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness affect adults can be very different from the way they affect children.

For example, hyperactivity tends to decrease in adults, while inattentiveness tends to get worse as the pressures of adult life increase.

Adult symptoms of ADHD also tend to be far more subtle than childhood symptoms.

Some specialists have suggested the following as a list of symptoms associated with ADHD in adults:

carelessness and lack of attention to detail
continually starting new tasks before finishing old ones
poor organisational skills
inability to focus or prioritise
continually losing or misplacing things
forgetfulness
restlessness and edginess
difficulty keeping quiet, and speaking out of turn
blurting out responses and often interrupting others
mood swings, irritability and a quick temper
inability to deal with stress
extreme impatience
taking risks in activities, often with little or no regard for personal safety or the safety of others – for example, driving dangerously
Related conditions in adults with ADHD
As with ADHD in children and teenagers, ADHD in adults can occur alongside several related problems or conditions.

One of the most common is depression. Other conditions that adults may have alongside ADHD include:

personality disorders – conditions in which an individual differs significantly from the average person in terms of how they think, perceive, feel or relate to others
bipolar disorder – a condition affecting your mood, which can swing from one extreme to another
obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) – a condition that causes obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviour
The behavioural problems associated with ADHD can also cause problems such as difficulties with relationships and social interaction.

Good Post. Keep it up.
I'm happy you have discovered it.
God is with you.
I wish you LOVE and LIGHT.
Always remember that your condition comes with a Distinct STRENGTH unique to only you.
Discover it, use it and you will hit your POT OF GOLD.

Also, quite Informative for those that no nothing about such condition becos most Parents don't even know if their kids have the condition or not. They would just tag them "bad or abdnormal child" then result to flogging them. So sad.

The teachers in the school are not well informed and educated on such issue. Most of them will just be beating and flogging the kids ignorantly becos they act differently, not learning well in class not knowing these kids have underlying conditions. It's so sad. We see cases like this daily.

Patients and Children with such conditions can be helped and they will see great improvements.

Just recently we had a case similar to this and the child is doing so well now.

In 2018. I was teaching in a School as a teacher. I was given the course Agricultural Science to teach them. I wanted to teach Health Education or something but hey...I had to obey my principal.

I'm no longer teaching again.

There was a boy who was Dyslexic. He had Dyslexia. He was 19 yrs old in Jss1. Teachers gave up on him but I didn't. I did my possible best to help this boy even having one on one private reading sessions with him after class and on Saturdays.

It got to a point this boy started performing well, doing well in class and even answering questions in class to the amazement of his younger mates. His grades started to improve.

One-day, this boy told me becos of me, he would love to study Agriculture in the University. I almost started crying cry

That's the power of a Teacher.

A Teacher is one who has the Patience not just to teach but to identify every child's deficiency and still INSPIRE them to be great in life.

Teachers play a vital role in Infant/Child Development and they need to be well informed on their pupils or students inabilities and be patient enough to help them academically to be great in life.

Several mental problems have been linked to reduced blood flow and oxygen availability in the brain.

When hyperbaric oxygen (hbot) is administered there is always an improvement. Many of the associated symptoms listed by you respond very well to hbot.

ADHD is a mental health issue and patients have been known to improve with this type of treatment called hbot.

ADHD has causes and these causes go to reduce blood flow and oxygen utilisation in the brain.

Improving the blood flow and oxygen heals the brain. HBOT is capable of improving brain function because it heals the brain.

You are very right. I can only imagine too. I read a story years ago about Usain Bolt. He was also diagnosed with HYPERACTIVITY but look at him today.

With guidance and direction along with patience, kids like that will be put in the right direction in life.

Parents and Teachers have a role to play. If not, they will end up beating, fighting and not understanding the kids all their lives.

Read his story below from his mother.

Some of you CPA Affiliates Marketers can be really annoying though

You go all up & down everywhere spamming with links without being empathetic

I got to click some of the links and discovered that they were all were foreign links that we can't easily derive a tangible solution from

This isn't how winning marketing is done!
You'd easily lose trust than gaining interest this way

Have a good understanding of the problem

Be sure the solution you're providing is relevant and accesible to the problem at hand

It's this simple!

Is this an error in quoting?
What has HBOT got to do with affiliate marketing?
Or are we dealing with ADHD here?

My bad if you aren't a CPA affiliate.

But really...

Why are all your posts spams of links of hyperbaric whatever?

Are you aware that in the entire Nigeria, there's only one HBOT machine which just got acquired? (I may be wrong, but I'd like if you could prove me so).

I ran a check on Google and discovered you've been running these ads/awareness for about a decade now.
If you have actually helped people in the past with these, do you mind sharing results of this you made possible?

My pain point is that most of the links you've been sharing with the spams are not so helpful with needed results (the reason I assumed you were an affiliate).

Thanks for the pains in searching for hbot in Nigeria.

HBOT has always been in the country Nigeria, Our hbot in Port Harcourt 11 years.

We try to make little explanation and back it up with foreign links as this is what our people would like to see. "Oyimbo mentality" because they feel nothing is good if it is Nigerian. This is why we make reference to others outside the country. This is just to show that what oyibo can do we can do it better.

Our HBOT is very much available and it works very well.

Normally the oyiboman will willingly allow you to publice his testimony but here in awa naija the patients will always frown at giving their success some publicity. So they just take their treatment and waka komot.

If you really want to see testimonies we have some which we cannot publish because dem no give us consent.

The only one hbot chamber in naija was mentioned in August this year. This is a one-man treatment chamber. Our chamber can take 5 persons. But in case of emergency a space for 5 can manage 5+x.

Kogi hbot is not the first in the country. We have
been on ground for 11 years. There are other hbot chambers in other parts of Nigeria but they are not in active medical use and no one talks about them.

If you need testimony on any of the claims or specific problems we are happy to share it with you if you wish or you can always find more testimonies on the internet. The claims are correct. We have the same equipment and get the same results.

Thank God. We are getting first info about this condition in the Internet. We might live our life looking for solution where there is none.

Thanks for the enlightenment chief

Do you have a company's website?
And address?

It'd be helpful if you put that up on your profile and have these contact address on each posts you make, if you add pictures (of your facility and perhaps branded designs of your company) it increases credence too

All these would really help and go a long way I believe

Best of luck chief
