The man, named Larry Odigie, from Benin, Edo State, was arrested when he went to confront a mattress seller to ask for his money back.

Odigie was paraded alongside a second man, Victor Jacob from Benue State, whom he had sent to buy the mattress.

Odigie said he returned to Nigeria for his sister's wedding and has been carrying the gun around for his personal protection because of the insecurity situation in Nigeria.

He explained that on a fateful day, he sent Victor Jacob to buy him a mattress. However, when Victor returned with the mattress, he was not pleased with the quality so he returned it to the store.

I totally don't get this act of carrying a gun around and threatening people with it as much as I have failed to comprehend herders doing a parallel act and no one is batting an eyelid.

What is good for the goose my brothers and sisters.,is no longer good for the gander ooo.

If you are quoting me for needless arguments, I've dropped an answer in advance for you in the pic below. Drops pen

Okay...

Living in the U.S. for long must have tricked his perception of reality and had made him think he could use a gun in Nigeria.

Bad thing he didn't realize he doesn't qualify to do so. So if a Fulani herder is permitted to carry a gun, he thought he was too.

Who did he think he was?

After this experience, I can bet you 1000 percent, he will never ever step foot again in Nigeria. There are people overseas if you hear their experience after returning to Nigeria, you will understand why it's justified not to return. Imagine, came back for sister's wedding a week ago. These idiotss in Nigeria will always be asking you to come back, come back, come back without understanding the danger for people overseas coming back to this useless disorderly country. They were even asking them "which tribe are you?" WHY THE FUCCK DO YOU FUCCKING HAVE A COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA AND STATES IF YOU KEEP ASKING PEOPLE WHICH TRIBE ARE YOU TO DISCRIMINATE THEM FURTHER? IF YOU ARE SO FUCCKING OBSESSED WITH TRIBE, THEN DIVIDE THE COUNTRY ALONG TRIBAL LINES.

He reason like a human being with common sense that Nigerians back home don't reason like. Why should civilian Fulani herdsmen and Myetah Allah carry a gun when other other citizens cannot?

This man is not a criminal, let him be.

Jobless vigilantes that can't secure the people against herdsmen but they flex muscles on someone who is trying to protect himself because of the situation of this shit hole

Several times we have been told to secure ourselves, are going to protect ourselves with our bare hands.

What a shit hole we live in

Why would you be flaunting the laws of the country you are in, with a LTC here in the US you can be with your firearm legally.
Oh well, you go spend better money to comot from this mess, if you dey fear for your life why go to the country in the first place and secondly you could have rented policemen to protect you while you were there for the occasion. Dumb dumb dumb.
