Just like Yoruba Nation and Igbo nation have several tribes under them but they are largely the same ...they share similar culture

Yorubas have more in common with Ashantis than hausa/Fulani kanuris

Igbos have more in common with southern Cameroon than even north

Nigeria we don't share similar value in any way

In France , the majority people are of Gaulish descendants but the Catalans, the Corsicans ,the Basques and the people of Navarra are of different origins but all have now agreed to live together as 'French people'



You are right about the different Ethnic groups in Nigeria to a reasonable extent.

The real reason why Nigeria, like most other African countries fail to develop is because most of their citizens don't think well in the ways that can solve the problems of their societies, even if we divide the country into 20 different smaller countries, there will still be developmental challenges.


It requires about 60% of the population of Nigeria or any other country to believe in and support a particular way if they want to succeed in that way.
