This is surveillance of private data.

There may be good intentions on the surface, but reading between the lines, the system would scan all of the user's private data.
They could, without informing the user, scan for other issues such as debit card information, bank account details, usernames, passwords and so on.

This is nonsense. Is apple the police? Are they a law enforcement agency or phone manufacturers? It's clearly something else they want. Scanning for child abuse whatever is simply scanning through your gallery and invading your privacy. The law enforcement agencies should do there jobs and prosecute offenders, apple should stick to increasing the number of cameras on their phones. If you are a fool, you'll interpret this comment as supporting child abuse.
