Players recovering from long trips in the international travels, others battling with fitness , then a UCL match against Ajax on tuesday to look up to with a team decimated by injury. It's only good we played at home for this match. Away match due to all this would have been complicated. Glad with the points

One more thing I should suggest to Mr Pique about positioning; the own goal he scored against AC Milan is a replica of an own goal he scored like 3 seasons ago (I can't remember our opponents but it was scored in the final minute of the game and it ended 1-1). It seems he needs to realize that when he needs to stop a cross from coming in, he should position himself further away from the goal towards the cross. That way if he instinctively sticks his foot out as he so frequently does, the ball goes out of touch for a corner and not in the back of his own goal.

Pique's problems began in Pep Guardiola's final season at Barcelona.
