We need a young keeper quite all right, but not too young. I'd prefer courtois or de gea though.

But Valdez also conceded 7 goals against Bayern now, Arsenal GK is his country's first choice, he's not a bad goal keeper.

How about Valdez and Cassilas? they started early, didn't they? i don't think Stegen is too young to be our top GK.

Valdes conceeded 7 goals in 2 matches (4 away & 3 home) and there's no top GK that hasn't conceeded such. It's hard to see young (very young) GKs at top clubs like Barca, R Madrid etc excel at their very young ages, Arsenal can be an exception (@ least they haven't won any trophy for 8 years now and they seem to be okay with it). Even David de gea found it difficult to adapt in his 1st season at Man U, and if arsenal's GK is his country's 1st choice, it's probably cos his country is hmmmmn……oh yes, Poland. See?

When valdes and casillas started, check their stats to see what they achieved then and their stats now. We need a courtois or de gea, who although young are familiar with la liga.

You are right... As good as Casillas was he conceded 6 against us some years back. That is not a good way to tell about a good goalkeeper...
