I'd love to see Bartra play some part in today's game. If possible, he should start. It would be a great test for him.

Roberto has started in all our pre-season games so far and has really impressed. I expect him to play more with the 1st team this season even though he hasn't been officially promoted. Sort of like Tello last season.

Batra isn't looking too bad. But he needs to show some confidence and look solid, else opposing strikers will always fancy a run at him. Defence is a difficult job for youngsters, I know, but he needs to show some bottle. The big games are upon us, and it might just be a major opportunity for him to make his name.

Barca is still trying to figure out the direct approach. They're trying to play the wings more, now that Alba is on the team.
But the delicate one-twos between Messi-Xavi-Iniesta have so far been easily dealt with by the local side. In spite of themselves, they have somehow managed to keep themselves from being overrun.

I'm worried that this might be another season of creating chances aplenty and finishing few. Plus, Messi looks overweight, and a bit slow.

Could'nt see much of the match. It's raining fit to drown a duck...
But if anything makes me happy, it is that Villa featured. Granted he was poor before he got injured, but you get the feeling he's something special to offer us yet. I hope this's all good.

OT- Who saw our much coveted Neymar in the Olympic Final. He was, to say the least, dreadful! But i don't know, i still want him more than anybody to join us. He's hugely talented. Just love watching him!
