Wrong aporoach has been the reason the war is taking so long. More of airstrike and technology should have majorly deployed well ahead of time before throwing weaponry and infantry soldiers.

A trained soldier can't do that. It becomes war crime, and is punishable. The fight usually isn't personal, it's just unfortunate the two combatants find themselves at opposing sides of the blanket.

If the Nigerian troops have taken that path you will be hearing the loudest of noise from amnesty international by now.

I know the Nigerian education system has failed you but they sell books everywhere. Airforce is dominated by the South West, similar to Navy. Army officials are always more from the south, the soldiers themselves are more from the north because they are brave and it is a realistic job option for them.

The reason you hear more from the north is simply because they do more in the armed forces having said that some of the most reverred officers from conflicts were from across the board.
