What i expected Governor Buni to have done was to resign as the governor of Yobe state and handover to his deputy and via for the party's chairmanship position. Also, Buni has been a threat to the survival of PDP, because he has being able to stabilize the APC and depleting Governors, Senators and House of Reps members from PDP. The court cannot remove him as governor since it’s only the state house of assembly that can do that. Asking the court to order the swearing in of the defeated PDP candidate is a joke taken too far. If the governor for any reason other than electoral matter is removed, the deputy governor automatically steps in and not the defeated candidate.

So, what’s the benefit of the case to PDP? This is nothing but a mere academic exercise and a waste of the court’s time.

It's politics and the desperate, dishonorable and treacherous Fulani cabal in charge of Nigeria left themselves open to this current PDP legal brigandage that may now destroy the APC.

All this because of fear of Tinubu and the reluctance of "born to rule" Fulanis to do the right thing and honour sweat, blood and labour sacrifice of others they had previously agreed to respect while desperate to take power away from GEJ in 2015.

This is the destructive result that dishonorable, greedy and ungentlemanly behaviour can cause.

The APC can now legally lose out to an undeserving PDP just because dishonorable Fulanis did not want to honour their agreement with others who sacrificed everything to help them gain what may be 8 uninterrupted years in power if Buhari completes his second tenure in 2023.

This whole and very desperate illegality was cobbled together to thwart the ambition of Tinubu. The one man who, ironically, gave more than all others to facilitate the power Buhari and his cabal are abusing today.

Imagine Buni, Malami and many upstarts, never tested in political battle, thinking they can use current office to hijack what others built to favorably project themselves as the bullying power bloc who will determine who becomes President of Nigeria in 2023.

These clowns should wait till 2022 when it is obvious Buhari is going and it is apparent that 'the king (Buhari) is dead and long live the' king' (incoming Presiadnet) .

Allegiance will quickly shifts towards whoever the 2023 incoming favorite is.

That is the person greedy and self-serving Nigerian political leaders will begin to serve in advance and not the outgoing Buhari and his soon-to-be-obsolete cabal.

I agree. The ACN, under Tinubu, used the law to make PDP pay for every act of desperate illegality they carried out. That was how Tinubu painstakingly removed the hands of Obasanjo and the PDP from SW politics.

If PDP had a single politician that is 20% as politically savvy as Tinubu then APC would be Court toast bread and Suya meat today for the many desperate legal infractions they have committed that even a fresh law school graduate can use to destroy the ruling Party.

If the governor and the deputy are removed, the speaker will step in as the acting governor till a new governor is conducted. The party that came second can never be sworn-in in a case of breach of constitution by a duly elected governor or deputy governor.
