Beautiful! Very Beautiful!! Thank you Yoruba people for preserving your beautiful/rich tradition. Igbos sold their rich tradition to the roman catholic church for the proverbial pot of porridge. If you ask the average Igbo what is Nri - they will look at you like you are speaking a foreign language. Hausa tradition is now completely non-existent. There way of life is now entirely arab and fulani. So sad. The awesome Hausa tradition decimated by islam and co-mingling with fulanis.

God bless Osun, Ogun, Sango, Elegba etc. Back to the basics. No more bowing before colonial gods.

It's a beauty to behold a people collectively devoted to preserving their cultural institutions, especially that which safeguards their identity in this wake of raging western imperialism.

It is most commendable.

But, I've my reservations whereof I see pictures of these professed custodians of the deities conducting themselves as doctors or disease/poverty killers by laying their hands on unwary participants.

I ask, if their medicine is so omnipotent, Africa would have been long weaned off malaria and other ailments and most of all, poverty.
If they promise you a wealthier future or money by performing some rites, how come they aren't well off yet?
