chloride6:Tanx. The real truth is that Pakistan/India battle for supremacy over Kashmir is more important than religion in the eventual victory of the Taliban. Pakistan won. Equally the Iranians do not want the US in the Persian gulf. So the US cud never win. |

feezay86: If boko haram was popular in the North, then the very least that would have happened is that the country would currently have been in a state of civil war boko would have definitely been in control of the 'North' and the South would have been battling for it's freedom on the contrary, North was against Gej's government because it failed to subdue boko haram and was seen as unserious about fighting the group 1 Like |

There needs to be crisis for America to sell weapons. No war, no return on investment. The USA survive on war, to make crude oil price to jump up, sell medical and pharmaceutical products, sell military hardwares , get contract for mercenaries etc. Tactical withdrawal was a tactical business game plan. Watch events as they unfold in few weeks to come. |

oyatz: You are far from the truth. The North share same interest irrespective of religious beliefs. Ahmed and Paul in the North are one. They will always put their interest first. It's not like the South were you have this division. |

All those saying this will happen here are just big fools. The Taliban were able to do this because a vast majority of them supports it and shares their beliefs. Well 99.9% of them are also Muslims. Nigeria is a heterogeneous society coming together as one. Even the North doesn't support nor share their belief. So that will not come into fruition. |

This is what happens when there is no capacity build up. The politicians where busy dwelling in corruption by stuffing their pockets fat and forgot to strengthen the army. They were lazy depending on foreign forces. We all knew this day will come and some countries in Africa toying with terrorists and bandit will meet their Waterloo soon. 1 Like |
