They crossed into Pakistan as minors. Not teenagers,, MINORS. Most of them don't even know their villages, their parents or lineage. Their allegiance is to the Taliban movement.
The first time they fought any battle was when they came to fight the Mujahideens (Indigenous Afghans fighting for their land over the decades).
