Y4all:Throw that pillow in in washing machine and wake it right back up again from the dead. No need to be wasteful. If allergens and germs are what you are afraid of, bleach it. |

Kobojunkie: What if it is sagging already or does not provide the needed support for your neck and head? |

Y4all:It needs a good washing and fluffing in the dryer to get the wool/fillings detangled and fluffy again. You can also do this manually by pulling the fillings apart by hand, after drying ofcourse. 2 Likes |

Kobojunkie: Great! The point is if your pillow emits a foul odour even after washing it, causes allergies and doesn't provide adequate support for your neck and head, you should replace it. Besides, they are really affordable pillows out there, meanwhile, it depends on what you want and your capacity |

Y4all:Pillows may be affordable but we cannot afford to be so wasteful as these things are made from limited resources and are not easily recycled. So if is in our best interest to learn to reuse as much as we can. |

Kobojunkie: Certainly, if your pillow still offers you value, why thrash them? Meanwhile, rather than thrash your pillow in a dump hill, you can take it to a mattress manufacturing industry for recycling. |
